Job description
Join us in our takeover of one of the nation's most prestigious high schools' dining halls for the school year! Thyme + TIDE Kitchen is a catering company who contracts with individuals and corporations all over New England. We are looking for three servers for this contract. Even if waiting tables was never your thing, but you like serving people or have been curious about the catering world, this job could be for you!

Responsibilities

Shows up for shift on time.
Maintains a kind and approachable attitude toward customers.
Keeps a neat and organized work station.
Follows Kitchen Staff and Front of House manager's instructions.
Skills

Is ex*****on focused.
Able to function in a fast pace service environment.
Has portion control when serving.
Team oriented.
Can stand for the duration of shift.
Able to lift approximately 20lbs.
Please note: A background checks, masks and vaccinations are required prior to start.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are expected to wear face masks and gloves for the duration of their shift and must be fully vaccinated.

Thyme + TIDE Kitchen is a catering kitchen contracted with one of the nation's most prestige high schools! This position was created to fulfil our contract with the school, working alongside their kitchen staff, and Thyme + TIDE's Kitchen staff, prepping for large batch service.

Requirements:
- 2+ years kitchen experience.
- Moderate to Advance knife skills.
- Moderate knowledge of kitchen equipment and vocabulary.
- Able to pivot to prep food on the fly.
- Able to maintain a positive and professional attitude in the kitchen.
- Prepare large batch quantities of foods.
- Able to follow recipes and instructions.
- Able to take redirection.

Expectations:
- Assess PAR levels in a walk-in.
- Work off of a daily prep list and apply assessed PAR levels.
- Weigh prepared food on a scale.
- Work autonomously and as a team.
- Transition from a salad bar stock prep list to day of dinner service prep list.
- Present for entire scheduled shift.
