The 2015 Southern Fried Festival is lighting up Langley Speedway, August 22 and 23. The Pin-Up Girl contest sponsored by Pop & Locke Pinup and Twisted Ink magazine will be Saturday at 4:00 pm – signup begins Saturday at 1:30. The festival will be host eight of the area's best country, blues and rock bands, including Old Enough To Know Better and Blind Wind. The Southern Fried Festival is also host to the VA BBQ Championships presented by The Kansas City Barbeque Society. Over 100 professional and amateur BBQ'ers from around the nation will be competing to win the title of Virginia's Best 'Que! Get grill tips and tricks from the pros! Bring the whole family! The Kid Zone this year will feature Tow Mater Truck from the movie Cars, Design your own Hot Rod, Face Painting, bounce houses and much more!
