💐Bouquets take up a large part of your floral budget! Consider something different for your bridesmaids! Summer time wedding? Have your crew carry a fan! Wintertime wedding? Cozy up with a shawl. Or opt for nothing at all! We promise - it won’t feel as awkward as you might think!

🌷Ditch the boutonnières and corsages! After all of the hugs and celebrating post ceremony, they usually look a little sad anyways.

🌹 Ask your florist about repurposing items from the ceremony to the reception. Having both in the same venue makes it super simple for their team 😉

🌸 Put flowers where they’ll make the most impact. If you expect many of your guests to dance, don’t worry so much about centerpieces. The bar is always a popular place so consider going big!

✨ It helps to avoid buffet line bottle necks
🤍 Provides a space for the less dance-y or elderly guests to gather

Where to start with your seating chart?

🪩 Easily assign family tables
⚡️Decide where the bride & groom will sit - sweetheart table or head table?
💍 Seat the older or more conservative crowd away from the dance floor and speakers so that they can chat with each other without having to talk over the music
💫 One of your friends coming alone? Seat them some of your most outgoing friends who you know will make them feel welcomed

Step 1: Set the dance floor. Worried about splitting the floor plan in half with the dance floor? Don’t be! Keep the party people near the dance floor, or at the tables that are farthest from the couple - they’ll be happy to have quick access to their stage 🕺🏼🪩💃🏼

Step 2: Decide where you and your new spouse will sit! Head table? Sweetheart table? Put that in place & the guest tables will be arranged around that

Step 3: Add guest tables! Using prism, it is easy to ensure that guest tables aren’t too crowded - but you will want to consider the flow for catering staff and/or people to make their way to the buffet

We love it when couples bring items to incorporate a personal touch but be sure to create a “road map” of where all of these items should go! Things like table numbers, frames, custom napkins, favors, bubble wands, toss petals, guest books, etc. should be discussed with your planner beforehand, but it is a huge help on the day of if all of these items are labeled and organized so that your team can ensure they end up in the right place!

Bonus points if all items are assembled and stickers removed 😜
