🗣️ Please RESPECT other people’s merchandise, property, yard, plants, and flowers….If it isn’t yours, keep your hands to yourself. This morning I awoke to find camera footage of someone plucking every single pink daisy out of my planters outside of my business. Patio pots that are merchandise for my business missing every geranium bloom….Now some may think, it’s just a flower, but to me it’s not. 90% of the plants I have outside of my flower shop have sentimental value to me as most of them I transplanted from my late mother’s home. They remind me of her everyday. From the black eyed Susans and coneflowers that lined her walkway, to the hostas that shaded her koi pond, to the pink hydrangea from her funeral service, and the baby twig off an heirloom lilac I gifted her twenty years ago that she treasured. A twig I’ve babied and cared for, for the last two years in hopes it could one day be as beautiful as the one on her property. My mom would always give me updates on her lilac bush every year and I enjoyed hearing them. Do not go around stealing people’s property because you have no idea what that item might mean to the person it belongs to.
Not only are they sentimental, but they are also part of my business. I love that I can go outside and cut my own flowers to add to my customer’s arrangements. Can’t get any fresher than that! You’ve just stolen property from my business. There is not a single pink daisy left in my planters and yesterday they were full.
If anyone is ever in a bind and needs flowers, just come speak to me. I donate flowers to nursing homes, cancer patients, and sometimes put free extra bouquets outside of my shop, just ASK. Not all of the flowers in the video came from my property, so if anyone near Centennial Ave notices their flowers are missing and plants ruined, here you go. I do hope the recipient enjoys them, but maybe next time just come by during business hours and ask how I can help you. Don’t help yourself to my shop merchandise and personal property. Good Morning! 🚨 Snacktown Street Fair 🚨 Friendly PSA, Do not park in the old school lot on Centennial Ave across from our shop! The tow truck driver has a lookout parked in the lot and is alerting the tow truck to tow vehicles as soon as you walk away. The lot is posted but people are still parking there and being towed. I am not affiliated with the property but after seeing all of the families looking for their vehicles last year, just trying to spread the word. 🌸 Anyway, go visit our Bloom Bar set up on Frederick Street and design your own bouquet! 💐

PSA about the heat: 🔥🩷 Today I received a concern that a delivery arrived and the water in the vase was 87 degrees, the customer assumed this was due to the extreme heat outside. I understand that this may seem strange, and that’s why I’d like to make a post to educate those not in the industry. I can assure you if you ever receive a delivery or pickup your arrangement and the vase feels warm, that’s because we condition and fill our vases with water that is nearly 100 degrees. (Our water heater is set to the perfect temp for flowers) It has nothing do to with the outdoor temperature, it simply means that your arrangement was just freshly made and that the water hasn’t reached room temp yet. Hot water helps freshly cut stems hydrate more adequately and can also help flowers bloom if they aren’t quite open yet. It also helps us with floral design mechanics, the tape we use to grid vases would never stick to cold glass. Please do not be concerned about your water temperature, this is perfectly normal practice in the floral world. We also will not be leaving any deliveries at outside locations during this heat wave unless we have prior approval from the recipient. If the recipient is not home and cannot be reached by phone, we will leave a message and a door tag and redeliver at a time that’s best for the recipient. We keep our flowers in 2 newly serviced coolers, we take care in our processing the flowers, and our delivery van is air conditioned, but unfortunately we cannot control the weather. As always, we will
take care of any concerns if they arise. We were closed last week for the holiday so our cooler is fully stocked with fresh flowers from our wholesaler and also local Adams and York County flower growers! Thanks for understanding!
