And that’s a wrap! Fall wedding season has concluded for Above & Beyond, and it’s finally time to rest after spending every weekend busily designing for so many lovely couples. 🤗

Now comes the best part, where I get to take a little break and enjoy seeing all the photos pouring in from these gorgeous events. 😌

I love when a bride chooses a white bouquet, because she always completely makes it her own. I’ve designed many white bridal bouquets, but every single one ends up uniquely tailored to the bride it’s made for.

And when you see the final results? Magic.✨

Daughter Appreciation Post! I thought since I gush about so many lovely young women on my account, it was time to share about the one who’s the most special to me, my daughter Haleigh. ☺️

What flower reminds me the most of Haleigh? A yellow rose, because it makes you think of the sun — so beautiful and bright. Like the yellow rose, she lights up every room she’s in, and she’s quick to make you smile. ☀️

Her personality is infectious…she makes you feel good just by being in her company. She’s a hard worker and gives her absolute best in everything she does, even if sometimes she doesn’t get it in return.

I’m proud of her for all that she gives to this world through her nursing, because nursing is HARD. I’m also proud of how she always shows up in this world with a smile and with the sort of kindness that warms everyone that she meets.

She’s compassionate, honest, funny, smart, humble. She’s everything good. And I love her more than words can say. ♥️

As a small business owner, I take pride in creating every single bouquet and wedding design myself. I do my best to only take on the wedding orders I can handle, and fortunately, I really can produce a lot of work for one designer. 😉

But I’ll let you in on a little secret about the one thing I do stress about: the flowers coming in from the wholesalers. They’ve got to be fresh, beautiful, and the right shade!

Thankfully, I’ve got the best suppliers on speed dial, so I can ensure that every bouquet looks as stunning as planned. ☺️

Just like Staci and Ken’s floral designs from their beautiful October wedding at the Mountain Branch in Joppa, MD. 😍 Such a special day!

In honor of closing weekend of the Eras Tour, I had to post about the whirlwind 24-hour trip I took to Toronto last month with my daughter Haleigh to see the Eras Tour a second time! 🤩 When we arrived at the airport, they were playing Taylor Swift over the speakers, and we could feel how excited the city was for her to be there. 🥰 I couldn’t have asked for a more magical trip. As I look back on 2023, one word keeps springing into my mind: gratitude. It may sound a little repetitive, but I can’t help it! I don’t want to hold back on how grateful I feel to be able to do what I love. Designing florals and getting to build incredible relationships with my bride and grooms…it just fills my cup. My wish for 2024 is that every one of my couples gets to experience a more beautiful wedding than they could’ve hoped for. And my wish for all of YOU is that this year, someone in your life surprises you with flowers on a day when you need them. It’s one of life’s wonderful little joys, and everyone deserves it.
