Transformed the studio for a little holiday fun gingerbread competition and the centerpiece was this oversized wreath hanging front and center. I built a frame from some of the beautiful willow branches .willows shared with me and then cheated by attaching it to a smaller, plain wreath for stability and to fill it out quickly then added all the texture with evergreens and more willow and hung it in place. Quick and easy way to put together a big statement piece!

Saying goodbye to the garden this weekend as the rain and cold temperatures set in and I rush to get the last of my (very late) tulips planted before the ground freezes. In good news, it’s already mid-November and my brain’s still stuck in October so maybe this winter will fly by?? Also that golden Fall Mock Orange foliage is my new favorite.
