Excited to race this Sunday at the Twin Cities Hy-Vee Half Marathon, 10K and 5K?
Here are some tips to help you conquer the race like a champ:
1. Be rested - Plan to get 7-8 hours of sleep the night before the race to be rested and ready to arrive at least an hour before the race start.
2. Stay hydrated and fueled - Drink plenty of water leading up to the race and fuel your body with nutritious foods.
3. Pace yourself - Don't go out too fast, conserve your energy for the later miles.
4. Dress appropriately - Wear comfortable and breathable clothing and don't forget sunscreen and a hat.
