We have plenty of crocheted for Hippie Daze. We have some truly Hippie clothes and things coming. We are 3/4 full for inside already.

I have one spot left for a sweet vendor. Not a 'sweet' vendor, but a vendor that sells sweets. No ice cream. Already have that covered. Trying to limit the amount of food vendors so no one will go home broke. We'll have two sweet treats vendors and three food vendors unless something changes my mind. I already have

Creative Cookin....regular food.

We need one more sweet and one more regular food.

Don't know if hippies would gave made it through this cold. The belly dancers will be back as well as the bouncy house.

I've had some ask if the WACPAC will be hosting the 400 Mile Yard. The answer to that is no, because we were too late in asking for it. Also, no we do not know who to tell you to contact. I tried to get that information as well as the name of their non profit organization, if they are one, and was told "you have to file an open records request" at the court house to get that information. So if anyone finds out who is putting on the 400 mile yard sale, message me.

Just throwing this out there to see if there is any interest. The WACPAC will be doing the Hippie Daze event next year and the Sawing Logs Chainsaw Carving Competition in the fall. We need someone interested in keeping these events going in Aurora because the WACPAC will be going out of business. If you're interested, message me, Bonnie Kincannon and I can let you know what it entails. Would really like to see these and possibly more festivals type events come to Aurora.

The Bear-napping caper has been solved and all bears are back safely. Always remember, don't drink and drive, wear your seat belt and if it isn't yours, don't take it.

Winter is getting closer with every passing day. There are some dandy logs at Kenlake that would be great for campfire wood. We would like to see it go to someone that can use it. If you bring your trailer over tomorrow morning, I can load some for you.

Came to Kenlake this morning to start cleaning and pick up the carved bears that the carvers did for us. Someone came last night and stole them. I don't like us that word but it is what it is. When you take something that isn't your, that's stealing. We have pictures of the bears and would like to have them returned. These were donated for sponsorship. If we don't have the money for next year, there won't be on next year.

FREE PINE FIREWOOD OR WOODCRAFT WOOD. There's a lot of nice pine chunks at Kenlake behind the tennis center. Starting clean up today. Better get busy.

There is a lot if good wood chunks left from the chainsaw carve. If you want sine or sawdust, go load up what you want. Will start cleaning up this afternoon. There are some bears there that belong to the WACPAC so please don't take them.
