Hey All...
An Important Update ...

Our family has made the difficult decision to postpone Dad’s service for a date TBD.

The reason – dangerous temperatures, snow, and winds predicted.
We know this means scheduling changes for some of you, and we appreciate your understanding, as we focus on everyone’s safety.

We look forward to celebrating Dad’s life in the near future, with those who knew and loved him.
We’ll let you know when we have a new date.

Hey All,

The attached pic is of the early morning sky, before sunrise, on Sat. Dec. 30th.

It's a small piece of the same panoramic video from East, to South, to West that I posted as a "Reel" earlier today.

I thought that my dad would really like this particular morning sky!!
And about 40 minutes after I took these images, I got word from my sister Sue that dad had passed.

It was not unexpected -- and actually -- as I was capturing images of that AMAZING sky that morning, I thought --
"This would be as pretty a morning as any, for dad to make a smooth exit".

Maybe dad knew what the sky was doing that morning. Who knows.
He always liked the Southwest Iowa pre-dawn, sunrises, and sunsets -- particularly when there were Clouds as a part of the spectacle!!

Well, that morning, it seemed that there was almost every variety of cloud formation across the sky -- so again, what a great morning to have...the next adventure.

I also want all to know that dad REALLY liked to attend the numerous ART SHOWS over the past number of years.
He always enjoyed meeting the Artists and seeing their Work.
Thank you for sharing your lovely work and skills with him.

Dad also enjoyed numerous Music Events at the Gallery -- especially the IRISH MUSIC SESSIONS!!!
I don't think I've ever seen him sit and watch something for 2+ hours with a constant smile on his face.

FYI...
Attached is dad's obituary, and info on a community service for those who wish to attend.
I don't think dad ever turned down a good party... so we hope to see you there!!!

Also...
Many Thanks to everyone that has reached out to the Byrnes family with grace, comments and support.

Thanks too, to all those who helped dad stay active, alert, and feisty over the last number of years.

Hey All,

I'm planning on doing some renovation projects in the gallery over the next couple of months, so renting the space will likely need to take a break for a bit.
Sorry about that.
