Adjacent to our bridal suite is a toy room where the little ones can keep entertained while everyone else is getting ready for the big day. 🧸 We also offer a yard games add on to our wedding packages, keeping children and adults alike entertained! 🎲 And just off of our patio we have a fun slide next to our kitchen garden. 🛝

Their gorgeous ceremony featured pink blooming Mimosa trees surrounding a circle arbor decorated in blue and white flowers and greenery. The couple's first dance was to Chris Stapleton's "Millionaire." Their wedding cake had alternating tiers of lemon cake with blueberry filling and chocolate cake with chocolate filling....

Early this morning, Patrick Waldron, owner and co-founder of The 1812 Hitching Post, passed away. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this month, and it progressed rapidly.

Patrick was an officiant at hundreds of weddings held here. He decorated cakes, landscaped the property, and brought great visions to life through his hard work.

Most importantly, he was the loving husband of Wendy Waldron, a proud father of two sons, and a caring grandpa to five grandchildren. He was a friendly neighbor and a thoughtful friend.

He was loved very much and will be greatly missed.

Please feel free to share your memories and stories of Pat below so we can reminisce about the impactful legacy he has left behind.

Celebrate the beauty of spring! This intensely romantic wedding from the end of March featured lovely pastels. The 7 bridesmaids and groomsmen entered to the song "Love Actually" and the bride's entrance with her mother as es**rt was to Ed Sheeran's "Perfect." The delicate redbud tree blossoms and blooming daffodils were the perfect backdrop. The couple and their guests danced and enjoyed cake and toasts. Party favors were monogrammed wine glasses for the guests to take home. It was a perfect wedding! Photography was by Sarah Seekly Photography.

As the chicks grow bigger, it becomes a little harder to do previous tasks the same way! 🐥➡️🐓

One of our employees lent us their dog kennel, and the smart little chicks have now learned to walk in & out of it to go in & outside! They love spending time in the sunshine & finding yummy snacks hidden in the grass! 🪱

We won't be doing this for long - we have a project we're working on for the chicks to permanently call home! 😁

Yesterday we held Destiny & Kyle Siegmann's wedding here at the 1812! The weather was predicted to take a turn - cooler temperatures, cloudy. Thankfully, some wedding luck came our way! The sun showed up warming & brightening everything up. We're so pleased they were pleased with everything, and wish them many happy years to come! 🤩🩷
