At current moment, I only have July and August months free (with a couple looking to book on some of those dates as well), If you are having a special event and need to let someone else take the burden of cooking, we are your people!!! Hey Facebook Friends! We are doing our 3rd Annual Wreaths Across America and need your help. We are taking donations for the purchase of live wreaths to lay at their grave sites located in St. Romuald's Cemetery in Hardinsburg. If you have a veteran loved one in this location you can be a sponsor of a wreath in honor on them or if you would just want to participate in this special event by donating to this cause, that would be fantastic.
If you would like to sponsor a wreath the cost is only $15. Any donation is greatly appreciated and needed.

To all of our faithful Facebook Followers and loyal customers. It has been a tough decision but we have decided with the pandemic and all of the crazy restrictions going on, that we will not be able to do Thanksgiving Dinner. We realize everyone is doing their best during this time and we totally understand everyone being careful during this time. We hope each and every one of you have a very happy and safe Thanksgiving Day. Everyone please be safe out there and we will get through this trying time and can hopefully gather again without the fear of getting sick or passing anything to our loved ones. We miss each and every one of you and hope to see you soon.

OK Facebook Followers, it is time to answer the poll? We are considering doing Thanksgiving Dinner again this year, even though the restaurant is currently closed. If anyone is interested, please respond back to us as soon as possible so we can make a final decision. We would love to still be able to provide our loyal customers a place to go on Thanksgiving and a great meal if they want to.

It will be by reservations so please respond back as soon as you can. Thanks again for all the loyal support and we look forward to spending that special day with all of you.

Good morning to everyone that continues to follow our page. We have decided to follow through on our catering business. If anyone seeing this post is in need to have your next event catered, we are your people. We are venturing out to cater any type of event that may need great food and hospitality for your special party, wedding, family outing. We have a great menu to pick from and our prices are very competitive. We also have a 20' x 40' party tent that is available to rent as well for your outdoor event coming up. We come and set the tent up, provide lights and will return to take it down. We have had great success with this business so far and would like to be able to branch out further to our community. If you have any questions or would like to book us for your next event, please contact us and we can arrange a meeting to get pricing and menu choices. We look forward to hearing from you and being a part of your next special event.

Ok Facebook Followers and all viewers of this page. We just wanted to give everyone an update of our future plans for Wilderness Cafe. Unfortunately, at this time we are going to re-vamp the function of the restaurant. We are going to be catering from the store, doing wedding reception, graduation parties and any big events that may arise that would need a great catering company. We will also be able to provide any private parties with Fried Chicken, Chicken Tenders, Pizzas and other available items upon request. We would just need a few days notice to get prepared to provide you with that product. We can not express enough our appreciation and support that we received from everyone in our community and our lake community as well. We have met such great people and made many friends along the way and we want to be able to provide our service to everyone in the best way we feel will work for us at this time. Thanks to everyone for your patience during this crazy time and please stay safe and protect yourselves. Every one of you guys hold a special place in our hearts and please stay in touch.

So to give you a little more information on our decision. We will also be using our building as a banquet hall and party place to hold any birthday, graduation or group meetings that should arise. Please just call us to reserve the building and make any arrangements that would need to be confirmed.

Ok Facebook Followers and all of our loyal customers, we have made one of the toughest decisions for our business and especially our loyal employees to close the rest of this week and next week to see the progress of this virus and the recovery of our businesses. We made this decision with everyone in mind and feel it is the best decision at the current moment. We still a few of our local small business staying open for curbside service and delivery. Please if there is any way possible for us to support these business let's do it by ordering from them as often as you financial can. Now is the time for our community to come together and help everyone survive this virus and come out stronger than ever. Ok Facebook Followers and all of our loyal Wilderness family and friends. We will open for carry out and delivery on Thursday, March 19th at 11am til 7pm. We will take every precaution that we possibly can with the limited staff we will have working. We also know this situation will be hard on everyone and we will work to make it as easy as we can by allowing everyone to get their favorite menu items. We appreciate all the support during this time and hope to hear from you!!

We will re-open on our regular scheduled Tuesday 17th to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with another great buffet and Family Feud. Menu to follow once it is confirmed.
