Mackenzie McDonnell and Kim Tummolo grew up together in a small town in Southern California. Friends from an early age, we shared a passion for events and always dreamed of starting a business together. After gaining 15 years experience in the event industry we decided to put our specialties together to create Precocious Poppy - a dream come true! Kim has worked for major theme parks in California and Florida in event production with a specialty in weddings, corporate events and community activities. Mackenzie is a certified floral designer who has worked in the industry for years with a speciality in floral, event and interior design. With having great success in Connecticut, Kim opened Precocious Poppy in West Virginia in 2016!

We love: our dogs, our husbands, New York City glamour AND San Diego sunshine, creativity, fairytale endings, sarcasm and brunch.
