A Joyful Winter Solstice Holidays To You All!
We're halfway around the Wheel of the Year from the NY Faerie Festival! From here the light grows longer and the Oak Knight grows stronger while the Holly Knight's power wanes! But fear not! Summer will come round again and in six moons the Summer Solstice arrives. Then they shall do their old dance anew! We each mark these dark winter days in our own way. How do you and yours keep the Solstice fires alight? What traditions, either silly or solemn do you celebrate?

Evenmarch Calls for Aid! A personal message from Billy Bardo, our Creative Director and Maestro-of-Ceremonies:

"In spite of rain, NYFF had about 1,000 more ticket sales this year than usual, and a full camping field too. So we were confident about our budget going into the final week of the show. Confidence allowed us to be ambitious, generous, & sloppy. At first we thought we were dealing with a bank glitch, but ultimately we're seeing that we simply & significantly went over budget.
Though we've had a couple of fund-raising auctions, we've never resorted to crowd-sourcing a short-fall, even when our burdens were huge. They are Not huge right now, but we're in a short-term jam and have a long-term plan that requires $ome $upport. So, yeah; I'm asking for it. Aside from this fund-raiser, we'll be hosting two Autumnal dates to come out and help us with the mud & gravel issue that's been so highly talked about. Thanks for your continued love and general support."

The Veil betwixt the Realms was thicker than usual and mischief was afoot, so our Pixel Pixies weren't able to share during the festival. So here is our closing procession and perhaps we'll work backwards from there! Time is funny like that in Faerie. Thank you to everyone for the Glimmers and it's time to enjoy the Afterglow!
