The Parade Coordinators learned today that Harrah Public Schools has scheduled a basketball event all day tomorrow at the old middle school facilities. Due to the hazards imposed by the additional traffic, changes had to be made to the road closures. Expect road closures to start at 4:30pm around the Float/Registration area. Side roads onto Church will be closed at 5pm. Vehicles will not be allowed to park within the parade route on Church starting at 5pm. All traffic between Highway 62 and NW 10th Street on Church will be stopped at 5:30pm. Please refer to the map for detours. Here's to a Happy and Safe Christmas Parade!

Heritage Park parking lot will be closed beginning 10pm on Friday, December 1 thru 10pm Saturday, December 2. This will allow vendors to set up and plenty of space for the activity. Please use the overflow parking. Thank you!

Thanksgiving Holiday Update

There will not be trash pickup on Thanksgiving - Thursday's trash will be picked up on Friday and Friday's trash will be picked up on Saturday!

Harrah City Hall will be closed beginning at noon on Wednesday through Friday for the holiday. Wishing each of you a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Tomorrow for Harrah Days the roads will be closed starting at 7:30 from Reno to 10th Street. Starting at 8:30 the remainder of Harrah Rd to Highway 62 will be closed in preparation for the parade. All vehicles parked along Harrah Rd need to be removed no later than 8 am. For safety and security reasons vehicles will not be allowed to be parked along Harrah Rd during the parade. Vehicles remaining on Harrrah Rd after 8am are subject to be towed.

This years Market in the Park celebrates its 12th annual event, which welcomes artists and crafts people from all over the United States, for an ALL-DAY EVENT. Again, this year we will combine our event with the annual Pigs in the Park BBQ Competition and more!

10 new trees for Harrah Heritage Park thanks to the consistent generosity of Earl's Nursery.. Earl’s always goes above and beyond for the beautification of Harrah.

And of course, many thanks to our favorite public works employees fighting the temperatures to get these planted.
