The first 20 folks to stop by our open house Saturday from 12:00-4:00 will receive a hand-printed original lino cut of The Modern News Building! Lino cuts, are a product of a printmaking process called relief printing. It’s a cousin to the process of type set printing (the process used to produce newspapers). In relief printing, a tool is used to carve a surface (in this case, rubber linoleum) making an image. After the carving process, ink is rolled over the surface, then paper pressed onto the plate, making a print! See y’all Saturday!

Busy week this week! Wrapping up all construction, bathroom floors being finished, wallpaper going up, cabinets going in, and outdoor area finished! Tables and chairs are on their way!!
