In 2005 I started creating decor made out of foam boards.

What started as a hobby, turned into a side hustle.

The way to enjoy the 2024 solar eclipse

1. **Gather materials**: You will need a cardboard box (such as a cereal box), aluminum foil, a piece of white paper, tape, and a pin or needle.

2. **Prepare the box**: Cut out one side of the cardboard box so that it forms a rectangular opening. This will be the viewing area.

3. **Cover one side with foil**: Tape a piece of aluminum foil over the rectangular opening. Make sure it’s smooth and flat.

4. **Make a pinhole**: Use a pin or needle to carefully poke a small hole in the center of the aluminum foil.

5. **Set up the projector**: Place the box on the ground with the foil side facing the sun. The sunlight will shine through the pinhole and project an image onto the piece of white paper inside the box.

6. **View the projection**: Inside the box, position a piece of white paper opposite the pinhole. You will see an inverted image of the sun projected onto the paper.

7. **Adjust for focus**: Move the paper closer or farther from the pinhole until you achieve a sharp image of the sun. You may need to experiment with the distance to get the clearest projection.

8. **View the eclipse**: During a solar eclipse, the projected image will show the moon passing in front of the sun, creating a crescent shape.

9. **Enjoy safely**: Remember to never look directly at the sun without proper eye protection. Use the pinhole projector to safely observe the eclipse.
