It was a very special weekend being able to see one of my former coaches Greg Miller get inducted into JMU’s Hall of Fame in the new Atlantic Union Bank Center! Greg was one of the best coaches I’ve ever had and was always pushing me to strive for more. We have since become lifelong friends as Greg has been an even better friend to me in life than he was my coach. I was fortunate to also see some other extremely influential people at my time in Harrisonburg and my career, which made it an even more special weekend! Congratulations GMil and much love to you all! Go Dukes!! 💜💛⚾️

We are excited to announce and welcome an addition to the instruction team at the Kulbacki Academy! Danielle Baumgardner, former field hockey player for Maryland and coach at St Francis University, is now owner of The Collab Field Hockey. She runs an incredible small group instruction business while also assisting with personal college recruiting. I have seen her training sessions and she is fantastic at what she does! If your child wants to train with someone experienced and extremely knowledgable, Danielle is your instructor! ⭐️🏑⭐️🏑

A great follow up for two clients from last post:

🥎 Grace O’Connor was voted Pennlive’s player of the week for softball last week for her dominant performance!

⚾️ Evyr Nailor is going to be on FOX43 this evening and tomorrow for her being selected to play in the MLB Trailblazer series at the Jackie Robinson Complex in Florida this weekend! Smitty and I were able to be there to support her as she crushed it for the cameras 💪🏼 A special thank you to WPMT FOX43 and Evan Brooks for coming out to our facility to support Evyr!

With the season underway, I wanted to share a few highlights from some Kulbacki Academy athletes who are starting off strong! 💪🏼

🥎 Macey Fisher, a recent Bloomsburg softball commit, started off her season going 4 for 4 with 4 doubles! A special congratulations to Macey and all her hard work she’s put in this offseason to get her chance to play softball in college and a tremendous first game!!

🥎 Grace O’Connor also ripping a 4-4 day with a 💣 and 6 RBIs!

⚾️ Jack Getty off to a 🔥 start going 7 for 12 with 5 runs and a 1.25 OPS!

⚾️ Bennett Sheppard off to another hot start going 4 for 6, 2B, 3 R in 2 games!

⚾️ Jager Nailor last week dropping a 2 run blast to end up being the game winner!

⚾️ Evyr Nailor being selected for MLB’s trailblazer series for women’s baseball!

Our first camp of 2024 is in the books!! It was fantastic and we owe Londonderry Athletic Association a very special thank you for having us and to the campers for making it so much fun! We had a blast and the kids learned a lot! ⭐️⚾️⭐️⚾️

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with friends and family! The last two weeks included my birthday as well as my 10 year business anniversary which gives me a lot to be thankful for! Thank you so much for all of the birthday wishes, and another thank you to all who have supported me on this journey along the way as I wouldn’t be where I am without you all! I want nothing but the best for all my clients and will continue to work as hard as I can for you all! We are getting our winter camps, clinics and schedule finalized and will be posted soon so stay tuned. We were able to fill the donation box and a little more for Leveling the Playing Field and Keep the Ball Rolling Hershey. We couldn’t be happier supporting this tremendous organization backed by the philanthropic efforts of Nick and his team! We will have another donation box beginning around the holidays, so keep those possible donation items handy and ready for those in need this holiday season!!⭐️💚⭐️

Another great week of camp last week! A special thank you to Chris Palmer of Athletic Performance Development for working the kids through proper stretching, agility training, and 60 yard sprint training. Another thank you goes out to Reilly Shafer, pitcher for Clarion University, for joining us this week and helping the kids with their pitching deliveries/pickoffs this week! Our summer camps are here! ⭐️🙌🏼 We are excited to host 3 different camps this summer, including our first summer camp teaming up with Halifax Baseball! We will also be introducing you to our newest academy instructors which makes our team one of the most experienced and knowledgeable in the area! The link for registration in the Halifax camp can be found on the flyer. For McDevitt camps, the registration page will be soon available. These camps are open to all clients from any location. Another Home Run alert! 💥💣 My man Bo has been grinding all winter, even through playing other sports, to keep working on his swing to get better for this season and he saw his first home run go over the fence last week! He’s motivated to help his favorite team, the Minnesota Twins, get their offense going someday 😃😂 so happy for you and proud of you dude!

A special congratulations goes out to my girl Abby on hitting her first home run last week! 💥 Since we began training last year, she has been determined to improve each session and has put the time in to improving her swing. We were fortunate enough this winter to have MLB catcher Yohel Pozo Jr. train at our facility to prepare for his 2023 season. What we weren’t prepared for was seeing what an even better person he is with his kindness and generosity helping out one of our nicest and hardest working clients, Calvin. You would have thought these guys were family training together the way he instructed him to the smallest detail, the laughs and jokes along the way, as well as countless gifts to him, including bats, batting gloves, and a brand new catchers set! It truly is an incredible story and all well deserved for Calvin and his love and dedication for the game! As Yohel is starting his first spring training game today for the A’s behind the plate, I want to wish him nothing but the best of luck along the way, thank you for your generosity, and come back and see us again soon! ⭐️⚽️💚💛⚾️⭐️ Yohel' Pozo

A special congratulations goes out this week to my client Ryan Grace for breaking the all time distance record for a home run since I’ve been in business! Ryan, who’s a Lafayette commit for next season, hit a ball with 96 MPH exit velocity and went 391 feet with me only throwing 36 MPH 🤯🤯😳😳 congrats again and keep up the hard work brother! Sunday marked a monumental day for me as it marked the beginning of my partnership with the Milton Hershey School and their middle school baseball/softball programs. A very special thank you to all those involved to make this happen! I am very much looking forward to this opportunity working with these young athletes and the support I can provide them! ⭐️⚾️🥎⭐️

Oh, and also we got to watch the Eagles onto victory while we hit too! Can’t beat that! Fly Eagles Fly!! 🦅
