Hey! Check out our friend Jake Heller, aka young_cheeses! He’s headed to Trondheim, Norway to compete in the 2023 Young Cheesemonger of the Year on October 27th.

The competition is held by as part of the annual . Six young mongers from around the world will go head to head in four rounds of cheesy challenges: 1) discuss their perfect cheeseboards, 2) demonstrate their cut and wrap skills, 3) assess and identify different cheeses, 4) take part in a world cheese “MasterRind” quiz.

Jake will be the only competitor from the USA - an amazing feat for a young 20 something! Stay tuned for more info on how to watch the competition.
