We are not leaving! We have done extension renovations to this building, put our heart/soul and labor into it over the past 4.5 years. As many of you know, we lease the building at the old Linglestown fire building and run both our businesses, Weir Event Rentals and Linglestown Historic Venue, from this building. The fire company has decided to sell the building. We are in the process of securing the finances to purchase it. If we cannot and an investor comes in to purchase the building, our new 10-year lease, signed last year, will need to be honored by the new owner. We are protected by many commercial real estate laws and our current commercial lease with the fire company. Wish us luck - it is not easy for small businesses like ours to secure financing for such a large purchase. We appreciate the support of the fire company and understand they need to do what is best for them. We intend to preserve the history of the building, continue our community relations with many local organizations, support the FireHouse Bar in the basement of the building that many community members love, and continue our support of the fire company. We are fully committed to securing this building as our own and to continue to serve the wonderful Linglestown community that we love.

Our tent partner, Tents & Events, is hiring!

Please reach out to Tents & Events, Annville, if interested:
Looking for help May through October to install tents, deliver tables, chairs, dance floors, staging etc. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 75LBS ON A DAILY BASIS! Most work takes place outside. Must have a PA drivers license. Hours to work would be Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm and some weekend work when certain events require it. There may be an option if you can only work one, two or three days a week, please inquire about a flexible schedule. This is a labor position and can be physically demanding. Wage is based on being able to work the full season through October.

Wages start @ $20 / hr for applicants who are able to work our normal business hours Monday - Friday during the months of May through October.

We also can accept some flexible schedules, but wage rates will differ.

Lower Paxton Christkindlmarkt is coming to Linglestown this Saturday, December 14th, 2024! The central part of Linglestown Road from round-a-bout to round-a-bout will be closed with over 120 craft vendors, food trucks, Live Nativity, Santa, kids' activities, German Dancers, German singing and more!

Please come inside the Linglestown Historic Venue to visit with us and all the wonderful Vendors!

Our business will open our Venue to the public, with warm bathrooms, cozy seating, and tables to relax at. We will also have photo backdrops to take photos at, free slushies for kids when you purchase food from the Linglestown Church of God, and free maps showing the historical information of Linglestown. We will also sell wine barrel tables and showcase our new product, the Sit-Dek.

We are super excited about the Lower Paxton Christkindlmarkt, which will be held on Saturday, December 14th, from 10am to 4pm!

Our main business, Weir Event Rentals, will present our NEW product, Sit-Dek, to the public for the FIRST TIME! Come inside our Venue to see what a Sit-Deck is used for!!!

During the Lower Paxton Christkindlmarkt, Linglestown Road will be closed with craft vendors throughout, including food trucks in Ender's Insurance Parking Lot, Live Nativity, singing, and kid's activities.

Inside our Venue, we will have 9 hand-craft vendors along with soups, bread bowls, walking tacos, and more being served by the Linglestown Church of God. We will also have photo backdrops, free kids slushies when you purchase a food item from the Church, tables and chairs to sit at, and nice warm bathrooms!
