Thanks to all racers, parents, volunteers and spectators for spending you day with us at the 2024 Spring XC. Proceeds from this event went directly to the Delaware Interscholastic Mountain Biking League. They get kids on bikes. They are outside going places. They are stoking a life-long passion for riding. DE NICA is a youth development organization, whose goal is to build a strong body, strong mind, and strong character in our student-athletes, on and off the bike. Thank You!

Either way you are gonna have fun (see huge smile in below pic), the weather will be amazing and you will be supporting youth mounting biking as the proceeds of this race will go to the Delaware Interscholastic Mountain Biking League.

Pre Registration closes this Thursday! The weather forecast looks incredible and you will be a part of helping to grow youth participation in mountain biking. The proceeds of this event with be donated to the Delaware Interscholastic Mountain Biking League to get More Kids on Bikes!

We will have some tasty barbecue on hand from Dixie's Down Home Cooking food truck. Beef Brisket, BBQ Pulled Chicken sandwiches, hush puppies and more! Yes, we said hush puppies.

You'll be too busy looking good. Mike Anderson and his crew from First Place Photo will be taking photos of you looking pro even if you don't race pro. If you race pro than they will make sure and catch your good side so you look even more pro. We heard it helps if you wear white socks.

Whew.....End of The Day! The XC and Endurance Race Season in the Mid Atlantic Super Series came to a close today at Big Elk Off-Road MTB Race. It was a beautiful day to be racing bikes.

As usual we are already planning for 2020. We want to just say a quick thank you to all racers and spectators for coming out today and supporting Circus Bear Productions and the Mid Atlantic Super Series this year. A huge Circus Bear hug to all of our incredible volunteers for working so hard leading up to and the day of the event for helping make our races happen. A special thank you to my mini me for working registration, t-shirt sales, staging and starting racers and clean up and breakdown.

Everyone in life is looking for a certain rush. Racing is where we get ours! This Saturday is your swan song as the XC and Endurance season comes to a close in the Mid Atlantic Super Series at Big Elk Off-Road MTB Race! We don’t want you to miss it. Pre-registration closes when the clock strikes 12. Day-of registration will be available.

We have sweet custom medals again along with killer hand made bags from High Above Designs. More prizes from EPIC bar, Swiftwick Socks, Twin Six and Orange Sea. New prizes from Betty Designs, JoJe Bar Bar and Enduro Bites.

The weather forecast is amazing. We have music, food, and the course is in stellar shape. There are roots, rocks, stream crossings, climbs and ripping downhills. Did we mention roots?

COURSE UPDATE!! There's been a slight change in the course for Big Elk Off-Road MTB Race. Due to some construction projects in the park and an equestrian event scheduled for the same day we had to make a slight detour and add a few roots to the course. The XC gpx. file has been updated and we will have the updated file for the Endurance lap soon.

Racers now go through 5 bridges near the start of the lap and head back to the finish on the gravel after finishing Hattie's trail. The mileage of the course has remained the same. The added Endurance mileage hasn't changed and will still go through South Park and merge back into the XC loop via Upper Ridge.
