I love how one of our long term customers describes our CSA bouquet subscriptions as “the gift that keeps on giving!” Because, it’s true! Whether it’s once a month April-December or weekly with our Spring CSA, the recipient will think of you and smile after each pickup. Adorning their home with beautiful, local blooms that can freshen up any space.
So give the gift that keeps on giving in 2025 💐

The farm’s Goober, I mean Assistant Farm Manager is officially 2! 🎂 Finn never fails to make us laugh with his antics and is a Mommas boy. The perfect addition to our “staff” even if he does annoy his brother constantly. 😉

Before we know it, the anemones will be here! Typically they’re our earliest blooms and seem to thrive in the cold but hold up surprisingly well in those random hot spells April tends to have around here. If spring blooms are your favorites too, check out our April flower share for 4 weeks of these cuties!

All of the tulips were planted yesterday and all the holes dug for the peonies thanks to my best guys. We are so close to enjoying some well earned winter rest!

A warm December weekend is upon us and we have SO MUCH to get done. Our peony roots were caught up in shipping and have just arrived. More tulips are here and need to be planted and not to mention the weeds already starting 🤪 So, if you need us, we will be in the fields getting dirty and looking like goblins. Except for the corgis of course, they’re ALWAYS cute.

We interrupt our holiday content for the STUNNING Alisha. Not only did she wow on her wedding day but was a pleasure to work with and her trust in our design skills was so appreciated 🖤
Also, these photos by .den are INCREDIBLE.

It’s that time of year where you start seeing posts like ”small businesses do a happy dance every time you buy from them.” I’m here to say, it’s true! In a time where community is so important, buying from local, small businesses benefits everyone. Am I saying you can complete your holiday shopping list locally? It’s certainly possible, but even setting aside just 10% of your budget to spend with makers and farms in your area can make all the difference to a small business. So, that is my challenge to you, if you’re going to spend, then spend 10% of it with a small business in your community. Nothing more than that ♥️

Our Story

Wild Roots is a specialty cut flower farm, and floral design studio located in the charming town of Danville, Kentucky. Alexis’ love of flowers began in a floral design class while pursuing her horticulture degree. Originally only a wedding designer, under the name Happily Ever After, the desire to grow and provide sustainably grown flowers to customers all around Kentucky grew the business from strictly floral design into what is now Wild Roots, both farmer and florist.
