can you keep a secret? 😏as florists, we tell you don’t buy the grocery store flowers… BUT I bet if you see a florist walk in Trader Joe’s, we will not leave that flower section empty handed.SO why do we do it but tell you not to? it’s very simple + just one word. QUALITY.you can tell these flowers have not been treated like the gems they are. they were already wilted + the stems were a little limp. grocery stores don’t have the time to properly care for cut flowers. so while it is nice to grab a few bunches to practice designing with - these are not the flowers you want to be using on your wedding day.Trader Joe’s has gorgeous flowers, don’t get me wrong. however, the quality just doesn’t meet EBs standards for YOUR wedding florals.
