We had the pleasure of having Maine Lakes on the property today for their Lake Smart Volunteer Appreciation. The volunteers enjoyed lunch, music and a presentation on native plants by Shawn Jalbert of Native Haunts. It was a great afternoon to compare notes (volunteers from 18 different lakes/ponds attended) and to learn more about ways to protect our lakes and ponds!

Tour today for the daughter of a friend I grew up with, how did this happen (even though we are grandparents, I tend to forget I’m old enough 🤣)!!!! Wanted to share the sneak peek of Olivia and Matt’s wedding day. They rented an AirBnb right on Little Bear Pond to spend the week and to get ready in, their beautiful ceremony was held just down the road on land owned by Olivia’s family and then guests were quickly shuttled up to our barn for the reception. They chose a great vendor team to bring all these pieces together. Congratulations again Olivia & Matt!

We had our biggest harvest to date last Sunday with the largest crew we’ve ever had! We’ve been overwhelmed throughout this journey with the support and encouragement we’ve received and that was on full display last weekend. Thank you so much to our friends, neighbors and family that came out for the 2024 harvest. We cannot wait to share a glass with all of you, cheers 🍷!

Grapes are coming along, netting had to go on earlier than usual this year to try and keep the birds and other critters from eating them all! These are three of our varietals, Marquette, Leon Millot and Seyval Blanc.
