This has been a very long journey for us and this week it as if we have closed an era. Watching them tear down City Fare was as painful as losing a member of our family. We are not sure what direction we will be going in in the future, but we wanted to thank all our Clients, Family and Friends for their love and support through out this whole ordeal. They say out of the ashes a Phoenix will arise...........

Monday evening we were able to honor a commitment for a cooking class for Scott and his team from CGI.
We were able to do so with the unbelievable generosity of the Feigoo Family from Costa Del Sol in Hartford. Pepe, Javier and Marie didn't even hesitate they immediately said yes to what ever they could do to help .... and help they did. They offered their kitchen, space and personal time to us. Fortunately for us the kitchen at Costa Del Sol is closed on Monday nights.
For us going to Costa del Sol is like going home .... They are always welcoming and they have been there for us through the years for happy occasions and sad too. We can never Thank them enough! The class was a success in no small part due to these wonderful people.

As many of our Family, Friends and Clients know we suffered a devastating fire this week.
In a space of a few hours our lives changed. Although this is traumatic we are very fortunate no one was hurt. We are so grateful for all the support and love we've received, it has been humbling. We want to thank all of you.
A very good friend wrote a beautiful post of all the people the night of fire who were so very helpful and most of all compassionate. The Fire Department, the Officers, City personnel, our Neighbors, and complete Strangers. If you

We would be remiss to say that our husbands have been our biggest supporters and we are most fortunate.
Through tears, lots of hugging and laughter (you have to find some humor) ..... we are just trying to get through each day and we will keep you all posted as to our progress.
This has been a bittersweet experience, loss of our livelihood but
to know City Fare has touched so many people over it's 28 years
is an unbelievable experience. Thank You

It was "raining Men" in City Fare's kitchen last night. We had a great group of guys enjoying a pasta class....not sure what they enjoyed most having free reign of the kitchen or making their own pasta and ravioli! Thanks guys we loved having you all!
