So it's the last day of 2018, which we like to think of as the "year of the Pig" since this was the year four friends decided to follow their dreams of starting a business together. It's been a wild ride for sure, and though we have so much to look forward to in 2019, we wanted to take a minute to reflect on two people without whom this dream could not have happened... Jay and Ashley brought their passion of BBQ and so much energy to the Portly Pig, and now they're taking that momentum and following their dreams and hearts out west to a new chapter in their lives. We're happy to report they've made the cross-country trek safely, and even though they'll be taking a step back from the Pig, their vision and passion will always be an integral part of this business. Jay and Ashley, thank you for helping to make this little dream into a big reality, thank you for all your hard work, and thank you most of all for your friendship. You will always have a home at the Portly Pig, and we'll be cheering you on in all your next adventures! Love and peace to all for this new year, Jojo & Jonny
