To say I am honored that Ty Poston and Lacey Poston chose The Globe Chophouse to have their wedding ceremony and reception at is an understatement. It was so much fun doing business with these two, and you could definitely feel the love they have for each other and their beautiful kids. Congratulations to you both, and thank you again for choosing The Globe, your day was magical!

Last night was a great night!

We got to see some many familiar faces, and it was truly just what my heart needed.

The Globe Chophouse has been my home for the past two and a half years. Those 4 walls got me through the most difficult time in my life. But upon further reflection it wasn’t the building, it was the memories and friendships created.

To my Globe Family, thank you for being me and my kids rock. For making us all laugh when we didn’t think we could, for supporting my crazy dream, and loving us.

To the patrons, each one of you supported my dream with every purchase, share of a post, and good review.
It might have been the last time we got to serve you last night, but we couldn’t have asked for a better run!

So, for the news, The Globe Chophouse is officially on the market! The link will be posted later this week. We can’t wait to see new ownership take over this stunning building and make their dream a reality!

Hartington Dayz 2023 will be 🌏The Globe Chophouse’s🌏 last time being open to the public. (Already booked private events will be honored). Be watching our page about a special announcement on the future of this stunning building in the next few days.

We are SO excited to open for one night only to serve this community we love. You will not want to miss this street dance!

Our bar will be located in front of our main entrance. We will start serving at 5pm until midnight!

❤️⭐️Attention Hartington and surrounding area!!!

🎭My talented friend Michele Kuhlman is the One Act coach at Emerson- Hubbard Public Schools. 🎭

We have been bouncing around the idea of a Children’s Theater Camp this summer at The Globe Chophouse!

The dates we have set aside are July 10th through the 14th, 4 hours a day (times to be determined).

This would be available for children going into 3rd through 6th grade. $125 a student, and a snack provided daily.

Try outs would be held beginning of June. (All children who try out would get a role)

Before any other details are given, we need to see how much interest there would be in this camp. There is so much up and coming talent in our area, we would love to give these kids a time to shine!!! 🤩

When putting the final touches in the dining room at The Globe, River City Relics in Yankton, SD was the perfect place to find the unique pieces needed. So many celebrations have taken place around the stunning harvest tables, and special dinners under the art above the booth. If you don’t follow them already, I suggest you do. Their new arrivals are stunning!

We love what we do 🖤 the showroom is looking so fresh!!

This beautiful lady is a complete rockstar!
Rayne was a full time server at The Globe Chophouse.
It was clear from day one that Rayne was devoted, organized, and a team player. She became lead server, and constantly went above and beyond for not only her co-workers, but the patrons.

There has been a ton of pressure to reopen The Chophouse. It’s been a very difficult month, and I hope you all understand how much we miss you. We miss providing some of the best food in Northeast Nebraska, we miss engaging with you, and hearing about your day. We miss watching you celebrate your birthday over one of our delicious house made cakes. We miss our Globe family, and the feeling these four walls provided. To us, this is home. ❤️

With all this said, we are moving forward!!!

It might not be what some of you want to hear, but The Chophouse portion of our story is over. Food cost etc, and demographics are not in our favor.

This building means so much to us though, so we are excited to announce 🌎 Globe Events 🌎!

The Globe Chophouse family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us. While we close the Chophouse chapter, The Globe will remain a part of this community. Please have patience with us while we figure out how to restructure these amazing four walls into something that works for our community, and surrounding area.

How do I even start this? It’s not something I ever saw myself having to announce, but here we go.

When I started this dream, one of my biggest focuses was creating a work family. A place in a small town where people felt like they belonged. My dad told me early on, treat your employees like family. I adapted that mindset and The Globe has become home for a lot of us. I am SO proud of all of you!

The last few months have been a struggle. The economy is tanking, food costs are through the roof, help is hard to find. Our dining room sits empty many days, but our overhead costs don’t change. Therefore, It’s with a heavy heart I announce that next Saturday, October 15th, we will be closing our doors. We hope this closure is temporary. We need to restructure, figure out what will better serve the community. We want to be here! This is our dream, and it’s a devastating blow, but the responsible decision. We may be booking events in the near future, and are hopeful for our catering business.

My hope is for understanding, compassion, and non judgement. I tried everyone, I sunk my heart into these four walls, and I will continue to figure out how to possibly reopen, stronger. If you have questions, ask me! Ask the other managers. We will answer anything. Please though, this is hard enough for us, just be kind.

Finally, thank you to our patrons. It’s been the biggest pleasure to serve you. Your support has meant the world to us. We promise we will do everything in our power to come back! Hopefully sooner rather than later! Please come see us our last week, we would love nothing more than the opportunity to serve you again before this closure.
