UPDATE! Sunday is now booked. We do have openings Saturday intermittently between 11:20-1:40. Reminder messages will go out Thursday.

Hello friends! As a reminder, Papa Noel visits are this weekend. Our Sunday is now booked, but, our Saturday has more availability and we’d love to make sure anyone wanting to visit with Papa this year, doesn’t miss out.
15 minute visits for your child(ren) are $125 and we also have 5 minute pet visits for $40.
I’m going to stop scheduling sessions on Wednesday or whenever a day fills so, please let me know if you’d like to schedule a visit soon.

Lovely morning to go to the Gretna Farmer's Market. Was handed this card promoting Teddy Bear Teas, right here on the Westbank, at the Gretna KC Hall. Children will receive free teddy bears and grown ups will receive free mimosas. Don’t sleep on this, as I’m sure it will book up quick!

I’m not going to be able to stay and play today but, we have a Christmas backdrop up at the Academy of Our Lady Christmas Craft Show today. Their publications team will be taking free photos via an I-pad and emailing them to you. AND, from 10am-Noon, On Scene Santa will be, well, on scene, for that little Extra Christmas touch. So, Deck the Halls, don your Christmas finery, and Fa La La La La your way on over to the Academy of Our Lady Alumnae Office 3rd annual Christmas Craft Show to kick off your holiday season.

It’s Time!
It’s time to start planning those Cajun Christmas visits with Papa Noel!
It’s our MOST FAVORITE TIME of the Year!
Southern GAL Photography and Papa Noel will be scheduling our 11th annual visits Saturday Nov 23 and Sunday Nov 24, right here on the Westbank. Currently, we are scheduling visits between 10am-2pm both days but, we may add times depending on demand.
We will once again schedule 15 minute visits with Papa for $125 and that will include a downloadable link to your edited images, as well as a memento from Papa.
We will also offer pet only visits that will be 5 minute sessions for your well behaved pet, with Papa, and a downloadable link to your images for $40. A portion of pet session visits will be donated to a local charity who gives support to pet families whose pet is undergoing cancer care, in memory of our fur baby who crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this year.
A $50 non refundable deposit will hold your 15 minute visit and the balance can be paid on the day of your visit.

If you would like to have Papa visit your side of the river, or the lake, we are agreeable to scheduling visits in other locations if you have a place that can host us. Please message the page to discuss further.

When you turn your annual girl's trip into a family trip, it just makes sense to capture the fun that the kids add.
Thanks to these moms for having me out to capture some pictures of this year's family vacation, and to the kiddos for understanding this assignment. The blur of the kids was 100% intentional against the steadiness of the moms, with the movement of the wind in the hair, waves, and sand. It's a picture I've wanted to try for a while, and everyone was game, and I'm so happy with how it turned out!
