Brian DuBois, a native of the Hudson Valley in New York state, has lived in southern New Jersey most of his adult life. He possesses a BA and MA in English Language and Literature and has spent the last 25+ years teaching high school English and Creative Writing. Additionally he designs and presents content for post-secondary continuing education programs, hosts seminars for local arts councils and horror conventions, and writes non-fiction articles for magazines and journals. So far he has created content on horror literature, noir fiction, and transgressive fiction along with presentations centered on specific authors like Chuck Palahniuk and HP Lovecraft—stay tuned for a non-fiction title that compiles
all of these.
Brian DuBois has currently written and published 10 novels The Gory Details, A Saturday at the Mall, Last Ditch Effort, Riding the Finger, The Perverse Misadventures of Grampy’s Shovel Buddy, Satan’s Guide to Telling Good Bar Jokes, No Place for Nice Guys, The Demented. The Sick. The Scary. The Funny Vols 1 & 2, and The Audio Files of Hudson Bleak. All of these fall into the horror/thriller genre.
