Who’s going to the Mardi Gras?!

Hattiesburg, gear up for an electrifying lineup of Mardi Gras events, starting this weekend!

The Krewe of St. Catherine 2nd Annual Roll & Stroll Parade and Block Party will kick things off tonight, Friday, Feb. 2, at 7 p.m. The parade route will begin at Main Street, with the krewe continuing down Front Street and finishing at Mobile Street.

Roads will close at 6:30 p.m., starting at 825 Main Street to the intersection of Main and Walnut Street, and will reopen at 8 p.m. Mobile Street, from East Pine Street to East 2nd Avenue, will be closed until 10 p.m.

On the agenda tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, we have the Mardi Gras Mambo - Mardi Gras Pub Crawl! on Front Street, starting at 1 p.m., followed by Carnaval Brasileiro at Fat Cat downtown at 8 p.m.

Throughout the weekend, Hattiesburg Police officers will provide traffic support, with barricades and road closure signage.
