If those of you reading this don't mind I have a couple requests. One, please don't comment on this post. You're welcome to direct message me on messenger but I would rather not have this turn into a discussion that could create differences or hurt.
PLEASE VOTE! But before you vote please research. Really, really research why and who you are voting for. What is REALLY best for you and your family and your community and your country. Don't allow your neighbor, your co-worker, your buddy at the bar, your Uber driver, an overheard conversation at the convenience store and the most common source, the media to influence you. BE SMART. Make a choice on what YOU think is best.
It's perfectly alright to disagree. It doesn't have create enemies.
My second request, and this one is a big one and maybe a bit uncomfortable but very important. PLEASE tell the people you love that you love them. We all have an expiration date. All of us. I know that sounds awful but it's true. Time is limited. Opportunities are short. Take your opportunities to spend time with ALL the people you care for and love. Take just a second to text. Take just a minute to call. Take an hour to visit. Cherish the time you have.
The world is fast and we all get caught up in our day to day responsibilities but I'm pretty sure you've heard the phrase "tomorrow isn't promised to anyone". It's easy to smile. Be kind to one another. Be gracious. Take care of each other. It's really pretty easy if we just would.
I hope this will motivate you to involve yourself in their lives.
