New England summer weddings are just around the corner! Who else is beyond ready for summer? If you’re getting married in the next few months, take notes 📝
Most couples remember to hire a florist, a DJ, a photographer… all the fun stuff. But here are some things that couples tend to forget until the last second 🛂
It’s just one of those days, ya know? ANYWAYS, here’s the #1 regret I hear from couples - from my clients and from social media. Are you having a videographer? 🎥
This is a good thing to know before booking your wedding date. But if you didn’t check before booking, no worries. Just make sure to build in extra time on your day-of schedule 💫
Obv I’m kidding about the ending. The most important part is of course marrying the love of your life! Butttt what is it that the ~kids~ say? Pics or it didn’t happen 🌅
Don’t get me wrong. I love all the things I mentioned in this video (the last one might be my fave) but if you’re looking for ways to save money on your wedding, start here. I promise no one will be upset if you decide to not include these 🥂
Your wedding morning, and really your whole wedding day overall, can be chaotic and overwhelming and fun and beautiful. So if you don’t have a wedding planner, assign one of your bridesmaids to remind you to do this so you can enjoy your day to the fullest and make it to the end of the night 🥂
A lot of people seem to forget about this part and before I became a wedding planner, I never thought of this either! You spend good money on your wedding so make sure to avoid this 👆🏼

Just a few things to remind your officiant about! You want to make sure everyone and everything is picture perfect. Looking back on those pictures and videos is so exciting so let’s make sure they come out how you want 📸
This is why it’s important to have a rehearsal or at least practice how and where you will stand 👫
As a wedding planner, I always encourage my couples to run rehearsals. It helps you and your bridal party know any visual cues you’ll be using, when to walk down the aisle, where to stand, how far apart to be spaced, what to do with your hands… the list goes on. It also allows you to practice how far apart you should be standing so that you are able to hold hands comfortably 🤍
Ease some of the stress (and limit the unwanted opinions) with this canned response 🤌🏼
Number 3 is the most important❗️
Planning your wedding can be stressful, time consuming and expensive but here’s what I wish I could tell all couples as a Boston based wedding planner 🤍
Certain traditions are becoming less and less popular 💐
Your photographer will thank you! And you’ll save yourself some time too 📸
Do THIS before your wedding day to avoid unnecessary stress and running around 🙃
Sharing which favors guests will actually take with them 🍫
