We lost an angel a year ago today. We would not be where we are today without our Mother in Law, Rita Tomaselli. She loved her daughters and grandchildren. We will be celebrating her this afternoon and will have a glass of rose on the table for happy hour!

The matriarch of our family, Rita Tomaselli, passed away peacefully yesterday surrounded by her 3 daughters, Michele, Cheryl and Lisa. Rita is the reason the deli opened. She believed in her son in laws. She was a frequent flyer there and was forever calling for a pound of American cheese. We use Mom's recipes for the ricotta cookies and pizzelles. She was still making pizzelles as of 3 weeks ago. We take comfort that she is resting in eternal peace and has joined her family in heaven. Hope u r having coffee this morning! We ❤ you!
