Thank you to all the volunteers, my family, HdG Maritime Museum staff and Board Members, the Boat Shop Guys for setting up the staging area for plants and pumpkins and basically taking over the boat shop, the donations and or discounts from Lidl, Weiss, Kent Meadows Farm, Lohr's, Berg's, Cavanos and Big House Signs. You helped make the AutumnFest a huge success!!!

Also, thank you to the 2 Pride Festival volunteers at the alley + 1 of their husband's that helped carry 65 pumpkins, containers of Apple Cider and more from the alley to the Boat Shop due to the road blockage. I greatly appreciated your kindness!

It was a gorgeous day at the AutumnFest! Thank you everyone that came to support the HdG Maritime Museum and the vendors. The children had a great time decorating pumpkins and playing games.

Call for Vendors! The Gardens de Grace Club of Havre de Grace, Maryland and the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum are hosting the annual Autumnfest on Sunday, October 6th from 10 am to 5 pm at the Maritime Museum and Lighthouse Keeper’s Grounds. We are looking for vendors to sell their merchandise. Attendees of the Autumnfest typically appreciate handmade products or items involving nature, as well as exhibitors who can educate the community on relevant topics. The Maritime Museum will be selling native plants, perennials, mums, and pumpkins.

If you are a vendor interested in having a booth at the upcoming Autumnfest, the application has more detailed information. Please fill out the application form at hdgmaritimemuseum.org or you may also contact the event organizer at 410-652-9757, or email [email protected].

We are also offering an EARLY BIRD SPECIAL for the 2025 Garden Mart at a discounted rate, available only for Autumnfest vendors to pre-register. Please see the application form for more information.

Come and watch Pumpkin Carver, Patrick Cabry sculpt 2024's Autumnfest Pumpkin from 1-4pm October 6th. This years creation will be raffled at 4:30 and will need to go home with you no later than 5pm. Raffle tickets are $5.00/each or 3 for$12 on sale the day of the event.

Let's have some fun at the Autumnfest, October 6th!

Register to participate in the scarecrow contest or the pumpkin contest. No entry fee. The number of participants are limited so get it in early. Contest Rules/ Guidelines and Registration forms are available at the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum, hdgmaritimemuseum.org or by request at [email protected]. Registration forms must be turned in at the Maritime Museum or emailed to [email protected]. Pre-registration is required by October 5th. NO EXCEPTION.
This contest is open to individuals, families and groups. Businesses are encouraged to display an entry but will not be eligible for prizes, but will be eligible for the People’s Choice Award.
Be creative!! Businesses may advertise their business. Display your Upcycled Scarecrow or Pumpkin on Scarecrow Row for all to see.

Make sure you come and vote for the business entry for the People's Choice Award.
