El afamado actor Arnold Schwarzenegger

Publicó una foto de él mismo durmiendo en la calle, bajo su famosa estatua de bronce, y tristemente escribió:
"Cómo han cambiado los tiempos" ...
La razón por la que escribió la frase no fue solo porque era viejo, sino porque cuando era gobernador de California inauguró ese hotel con su estatua.

La administración del hotel le dijo a Arnold que "en cualquier momento puedes venir y siempre tendrá una habitación separada para usted".

Cuando Arnold renunció como gobernador y un día se quería quedar en el hotel, la administración se negó a darle una habitación argumentando que debería pagar, ya que el hotel estaba casi lleno.

Él trajo un “Sleeping Bag” y se acostó debajo de la estatua y explicó lo que quería transmitir: "Cuando estaba en una posición importante, siempre me felicitaban, y cuando perdí ésta posición, se olvidaron de mí y no cumplieron su promesa. No confíes en tu posición ni en la cantidad de dinero que tienes, ni tu poder, ni tu inteligencia, eso no durará ".

Tratando de enseñarle a todos que cuando eres "Importante" ante los ojos de la gente, todos son tus "Amigos". Pero una vez que no beneficies o suplas sus intereses, no importarás.

"No siempre eres quien crees que siempre serás, nada dura para siempre".

La gente va y viene; los intereses de cada cuál cambian de la noche a la mañana. Hoy pueden abrazarte y mañana traicionarte e incluso pisotearte.

EL DESAFÍO entonces, es aprender a escoger bien nuestras conexiones, desconectándonos de los tóxicos y oportunistas, y tomarnos el tiempo para colocar, en nuestros círculos de confianza, a aquellos que nos amen por lo que somos, y no por lo que nos puedan sacar por interés o rechazar por desinterés.

Y ante todo nuestra unica gloria Permanente es la Corona de justicia que esta guardada para aquellos que Le servimos a Dios.

As we were waiting to eat in Hattiesburg tonight my baby saw this Army Soldier and as he was walking in she said thank you for your service and he didn’t hear her.
When he walked back out she was shy so I said sir I don’t think you heard her a minute ago but she said thank you for your service! He said thank you and he appreciated it so he walked to his vehicle and got in.
Then he got out of his vehicle and walked up to Macie and said can you hold on to something for me and he pointed to his right arm at the 🇺🇸 and told Macie to take it off and hang on to it! Y’all talking about chills and tears!
I try and teach my kids to when they see a man or woman in uniform to thank them!

The olive tree of Vouves, on Crete. This tree, which has a trunk 15 feet in diameter, is at least 2,000 years old, and likely 2,900 years old, based on the graveyard found nearby. This tree likely lived through the writing of the Iliad, the golden age of Athens, the rise of the Roman Empire, and the birth of Christ and then lived for 2,000 years after that. It still produces olives, as well!

It's finally here 🎉 Our bloom has started but it won't last!

⏳ The fields will be their most beautiful for the next 4-6 days during our peak bloom.

For those guests who have already booked pre-bloom visits, check your inbox for your invitation to reserve your date and time.

All other guests can now reserve their visit directly though our website.

With our bloom approximately one week away, we wanted to remind you that this will be one of your last chances to reserve your visit at our pre-bloom pricing of $35 per vehicle. 

After the bloom begins, the price per visit will go up to $45 per vehicle.

Booking in advance will save you $10 and guarantee your spot.

After the bloom begins, we'll send out an email to all pre-bloom guests with an invite to pick your desired date and time.
