Exciting News from Make It Messy! 🎨

Over the past year, we’ve had the joy of creating countless messy memories with you and your families. As we look ahead, we have some exciting news to share!

Make It Messy! will soon be under new ownership — but here’s the best part: our new owner isn’t a stranger to our messy, creative world. Lori Divilbiss has been a cherished part of the Make It Messy! family from day one, attending countless events, a messy regular in open play sessions, art classes, and special celebrations.

We want to take a moment to thank Heather Gillis for her incredible vision and leadership in bringing her dream, Make It Messy!, to life. As Heather steps away to focus on her family, we are incredibly grateful for the joy and creativity she brought into our community.

Rest assured, Make It Messy will continue to offer the same fun, creative experiences that you know and love, with even more exciting plans on the horizon! 🎉

Get ready for a week of sensory-filled fun as science and art collide! 🌈👩‍🔬 We’re experimenting, learning, and creating unique masterpieces through the magic of science. Check out our activities:

•Growing Rainbows: Discover chromatography with markers, paper towels, and water. Watch as rainbows grow before your eyes!
•Rainbow Paper: Dive into thin-film interference using clear nail polish, paper, and water. Create stunning rainbow effects!

Make It Messy! officially turns ONE today! What an incredible year it’s been, full of messy fun, creativity, and unforgettable memories. From open play to summer camps, art classes, birthday parties, special events, homeschool co-op gatherings, school field trips, group visits, and all of our wonderful local community organizations—you’ve all been such an important part of this journey! Each season brought something new at MiM. We loved visiting with Santa Claus and @autismsocietyofid , our monthly glow nights with @jesspaintsface , cozy rainy days full of play, energetic snow days, exciting collaborations with @tribalcowboy and @bubblehouseinw in the spring, and getting to know all of our campers and their families this summer. We had a blast teaming up with local businesses like @grooveberriescda and @rootedchiropracticclub for exciting giveaways and truly enjoyed visits from Chaos Coordinators, @wandercoeurdalene , @nwfamilynetwork , @momwhatsnextcda , @snr_idaho , local schools, after-school programs, and camps.
