PLEASE SHARE -The California Highway Patrol has issued an Ebony Alert on behalf of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office for a missing teen last seen in Castro Valley.

Djuana Williams, 13, was last seen on Saturday at around 7 p.m.in Edwards Lane and Center Street, Castro Valley.

Williams is described as a Black teen standing at 5-foot-5 and weighing around 245 pounds. She has brown hair and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Williams is believed to be on foot.

Hard to believe that 2024 is coming to a close. The Brazilian Room will be hosting its final Open House of 2024 this Tuesday, December 17th.

Please join us between 3pm and 7pm to learn more about this beautiful historic venue. Approved Caterers Blue Heron Catering , Montperi Catering and Events , and S+S Gastro Grub Catering will be available to speak with clients as well as East Bay Regional Park District Employees.

“Blue Heron catered our wedding at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley, and it was PERFECT. Starting from the initial planning, Debbie was an absolute joy to work with. She incorporated all of our ideas we came in with, and helped us fill in the gaps with their amazing menu. The tastings were great and helped us confidently decide on the delicious final menu. Very attentive to all of our guests dietary restrictions as well. They also dealt masterfully with all of our last minute little things, like patio heaters and our idea to have affogatos at an espresso cart (which was SO good). The dinner at our reception turned out so amazingly delicious, we’ve been getting compliments from all of the guests ever since. We HIGHLY recommend Blue Heron, our wedding wouldn’t have been so awesome without them!!”

We do love 5 star reviews! This wedding was at The Presidio Yacht Club/Travis Marina (photos in previous post). If you're getting married or having a party, check it out. We love creating magic there!

Incredible food, service, and support all around!

I could not recommend Debbie and Blue Heron Catering more highly. She catered our wedding with a Thai inspired menu, and we heard from many guests that it was the best wedding meal that they had ever had. In addition to the food and day of service being excellent, Debbie was wonderful to work with throughout the planning and aftermath of the wedding. I found her very down to earth and a clear communicator, she was very flexible with all of our requests, she was incredibly helpful on things outside of her purview (she recommended our wine selection and coordinated the delivery so we didn't have to think about it), and she maintained a calm and collected demeanor throughout. Were I to need future catering in the Bay Area, Blue Heron would be my first call.

Congratulations to E + T! It was a stunning day on the edge of our sparkling bay. Weddings here at Presidio Yacht Club are really something special. The menu was Thai curries, green papaya salad, tofu spring rolls with coconut milk peanut sauce, basmati rice and more! Their guests were treated to a real San Francisco experience!
