What a great day for a bouquet! 💐 Something so simple can help make someone’s day and I love being able to take part in that. I couldn’t do it without y’all!

I learned from the best my aunt Shela. The owner of Trojan florist in Hazel Green Alabama. She introduced me to the floral world during a time I needed it the most. I instantly clicked and absolutely loved it. Thank you Aunt Shela for sharing your art with me and giving me the opportunity to share that with others. 🌷

If you have pets in the home.. it’s so very important to know which plants/flowers are safe to have. Some of our favorite plants and flowers can be extremely toxic to our pets.. Some of the toxic plants you might love are lilies, tulips, hydrangeas and the list goes on. Instead consider these safe plants that will not only benefit your health/space but are also pet safe! 🪴

*although these are considered “safe” always keep plants away from our furry friends*

I hope everyone is enjoying their day on this beautiful Sunday!

Today I am making my own natural leaf cleaner/shiner!

Cleaning your plants once a month or when dust is visible.. is important for your plants health. Dusty, dirty leaves will limit the light that the leaves will absorb and have an all around negative effect on your plants health.

A dirty leaf surface allows more diseases and even insects to take over your plant. Having clean leaves helps air filtering plants absorb light more efficiently which results in better photosynthesis.

Happy St. Patrick’s day everyone! 🍀

This is me repotting my Chinese coin plant! 🪴

This plant is from southwest China and is believed to bring good luck, fortune and money to their owners. Typically these plants love to be in the sun and watered when the soil is dry. You should also rotate these plants to encourage growth!

Don’t worry.. I will be propagating the broken stem 😉

Busy busy weekend but couldn’t be happier doing what I love.. flowers and meeting new people ☺️

Today I attended my first networking event and let’s say it was a success! As a way to spread a little kindness along with advertising The Petal Patch.. I wrapped some roses to give to the other business owners there. 🌹

Today marks one month since I’ve started my business and let me say it’s been HECTIC.

I’m thriving in the chaos as I figure this thing out and know I’ll make it out of here alive ☺️

Here’s some things I did this month

-Got accepted to vendor at The Cottage Core festival
-Partnered with Atlanta’s Pretty Petals for a styled shoot
-Participated in a Super Bowl give away
-Hosting my own networking event along with participating in others
-Got my very OWN apron that represents my business perfectly

It is believed that the lime fruits absorb negative energy, warding off bad luck from entering the home. 🍀 🪴You’ll see even more flowers such as orchids, narcissus, gladiolus, chrysanthemums, anthuriums, peach blossom, and lotus flowers due to their shared symbolism of good fortune.
