We lost a sweet member of our Cowboy Poetry Committee this week! Our hearts go out to Melissa’s husband & children ❤️

Our beautiful girl was called home on Easter Sunday so fitting on this most Holy Day ❤️ I can’t imagine our lives without her but so grateful she is now free from her very sick body. We’ll miss you until our glorious reunion dear Melissa ❤️🥰

Doug and Diane Pope have given countless volunteer hours over the years to Heber Valley Western Music & Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Diane and Doug are having a life-changing experience as they support their adult daughter Melissa Pope Flynn and her family, including an admiring husband and 4 young children, with her struggle in the battle of life against cancer. Along with Doug and Diane, Melissa and family are long-time residents of Heber Valley. Please join us in a benefit concert and cowboy dinner on June 22, 2023 starting at 5:30 p.m. to support this beloved Heber Valley family.

We’re so sorry to hear of the passing of our dear friend Ian Tyson. Ian was a world class singer/songwriter and brought such great music to the world. He graced the stages of the Heber Valley Gathering on many occasion, bringing us hours of enjoyment with that beautiful distinctive voice of his. He will certainly be missed. Our sincere condolences to his family.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Don Edwards. A true friend of the Heber Valley Gathering. We were blessed to have him on our stages so many times over the years and will forever remember this beautiful kind man and his incredible voice. No one could sing a western cowboy tune like Don! Our sincere condolences to Kathy & family at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. 🥰
