In a one-hour visit from Kim and her cold-blooded creatures, guests will get to hold some very tame reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates and will receive a wealth of information about some of the world's coolest and most fascinating animals. I have decided to take some time off. Between now and the end of December, I will be doing the shows that I already have on my calendar but I won’t be taking any additional bookings. I’m having total knee replacement surgery on both of my knees at the beginning of the year. One will be done in January and the other will be done in March. I’m hoping to be back to doing shows in the summer or fall of 2025.

Only July 16th, we celebrate and draw focus to the protection & conservation of these amazing animals, but I'd like to celebrate a little differently... I want to celebrate YOU!

When I decided to start this work, I was utterly terrified. 😱 2021 was a terrible year to start this type of business, especially featuring one of the most reviled animals on the planet. 😂 Who on earth would hire me?! 😬

I was SO wrong because I didn't understand how utterly AMAZING my community is, both locally and all across Nova Scotia! In all the homes, schools, churches & other venues I've visited, I've seen so much passion for the natural world, and an open-mindedness to new experiences. I thought teaching people to love snakes would be such an uphill-climb, but you proved me completely wrong and I am just so proud of my community!! 🥰

Thank you for opening your hearts to these wonderful animals! 🐍💚 You have made me so proud to be a Bluenoser, and I'm constantly gushing about you to my fellow reptile enthusiasts & educators abroad! I hope your family can find some small way to celebrate today! 😁

Chase and I did 2 birthday parties over the weekend, today we did two shows for the wizard Academy summer camp, and tomorrow we’re doing a show for a summer camp in Draper. 😊

This young man was at the show Chase and I did today. I did a birthday party for him when he was 3 and now he’s 17. In the first picture, he’s holding my albino ball python sizzle. In the current picture, he’s holding my spider albino ball python jasmine. I wish I had brought sizzle today for him to take a picture with, but Jasmine‘s close enough. Lol

We did a birthday party in Park city today. Tomorrow we will be in Draper doing a show for a summer camp, and Tuesday we will be at Spring Gardens assisted living here in Heber. 😊

Sandy Library

The eggs from my pastel clown ball Python X banana, enchi, orange dream, clown ball Python are doing great. Day 5 in the incubator.

We had a great time at the Bingham Creek Library tonight. 😊

Got home from watching my grandson to find that one of Harley Quinn’s eggs had pipped. I cut all of the eggs and it looks like there are four mystic pieds and two pieds. I will post pictures when they’re out of the eggs.

Candling Harley Quinn’s eggs. They all look beautiful. Ball python eggs will naturally stick together within a couple of hours of being laid. They were quite stuck together, so I decided not to try to take them apart. Doing so could risk damaging an egg and that could be fatal to the embryo. They will incubate fine, just like they are. 😊

If you watch closely down at the bottom of the egg in the middle, you’ll see the embryo move. 21 days into 60 days of incubation.

Huge crowd at the Draper Library today! By the time they fit everyone in that they could, there were 230 people in the room and people out in the hallway wanting in. It was such a great group of people! Everyone was so nice!
