I'm not sure how we got here...end of September, leaves changing color, fall flowers blooming...crazy!
Our late season snapdragons are pretty spectacular!

AND check out our Mums! These guys are ready to take off. We should start harvesting Heirloom Mums late this week and run them through Thanksgiving. It's about to get wild around here harvesting the early varieties, disbudding the late varieties, and dragging out the row covers.

A sympathy basket that went out today. Baskets give me the opportunity to just throw it all in artistically. Bits of feverfew tucked in with some echinops to bring in a bit of wimsy. Everything was grown on our Hebron flower farm other than the three dahlias I snagged from a friend.

That red streak runs right through our farm. Sadly we have moved up from Severe Drought to Extreme Drought.

Our thornless rose hips are coloring up nicely. It seems early but then I remember it's the middle of September. I'm surprised they look so good with the lack of rain most of the season!

June weddings are special because it's peony season, campanula season, delphinium season. All the beauties bloom in June. If you are planning a June (or early July) wedding in 2026, let's talk! Fall meets Spring in our hoop houses at this time of year. Beautiful Fall abundance surround little babies just germinated to be planted in their place for Spring abundance.

New perennials are being planted in the field as tired annuals are being composted.
