We have a big announcement that we are so excited to share: Grammy Award winning vocalist Catherine Russell will be featured on Thursday and Friday nights at Swing Out New Hampshire with Danny Jonokuchi and the Revisionists!



Catherine is a native New Yorker, born into musical royalty. Her father, the late Luis Russell, was a legendary pianist / composer / bandleader, and Louis Armstrong's long-time musical director. Her mother, the late Carline Ray, was a pioneering vocalist / guitarist / bassist who performed with International Sweethearts of Rhythm, Mary Lou Williams, and Sy Oliver.



She has been a hit at Jazz festivals around the world, and we can't wait to welcome her to our camp and be inspired by her vocal stylings!

The Gordon Webster Band returns! Gordon is one of the hottest jazz pianists around, and has become a favorite with swing dancers across the country and around the world. He's rocked the house at SONH for many years, and we are delighted to welcome The Gordon Webster Band back again this summer!

💫Weekend Passes now available!💫

Can't make it for the full camp experience? Join us for a long weekend! We've got a little extra space at camp, which means we are offering a limited number of weekend-only passes this year. A full all-in pass is still the best way to enjoy everything that Swing Out New Hampshire has to offer, including track classes and five full nights of social dancing, but if you just can't make it for the entire camp, this is the deal for you. These limited passes will be on sale for just $462 and include:

* Three nights of social dancing to live music
* Optional classes
* All social activities, including Happy Hour, Cabaret, and history and culture presentations
* All the usual facilities that Camp Wicosuta has to offer, including pool and lake time
* Lodging and full meals beginning with Friday dinner

Weekend attendees can check in starting at 4pm on Friday, Aug. 25th, and can stay through to the end of camp on Monday, Aug. 28th. Please note that weekend pass holders will not be permitted to take any of the tracked classes. If you are interested in our regular Lindy Hop classes, please sign-up up for the full Swing Out New Hampshire pass. Weekend-only pass holders can still choose to add on linens or a return bus ticket to NYC or Boston (bus reservation deadline is Aug. 11th). Merchandise cannot be added at this time, but limited quantities will be available for purchase at camp. These special passes are limited and are not guaranteed to be offered each year, so if you've always wanted to attend camp but couldn't get enough time off, this year is your chance!

Introducing Marie N'diaye, our resident Jazz Dance specialist instructor for Swing Out New Hampshire! Join us from August 23rd to 28th for an incredible swing dance experience with Marie and other talented instructors.

Marie has been dancing since she took her first steps, but it was in 2006 when she fell head over heels for Lindy Hop. With years of experience under her belt, Marie has had the privilege of working and dancing with the fantastic teachers at the renowned Cat's Corner Studio in Montreal. Now based in Stockholm, she shares her expertise at the esteemed Chicago Swing Dance Studio.

In her classes, Marie combines modern knowledge and authentic style with a good measure of fun! Her passion for Jazz Dance shines through, and she will inspire you to bring your swing moves to new heights.

🎺 Meet Your Instructors: Grace Durant & Scott Angelius 🎺

Introducing the inspiring duo of Grace Durant and Scott Angelius, joining us as instructors at Swing Out New Hampshire! Get ready for an incredible dance journey with them!

Grace Durant fell in love with swing dancing in 2009 and has been dancing, competing, and teaching ever since. With victories in Lindy Hop, S**g, and Balboa at regional, national, and international levels, Grace is a seasoned competitor. As an instructor, she empowers her students by focusing on connection, versatility, and creativity. Her teachings enable dancers to express themselves freely and dance with anyone.

Scott Angelius began his swing dance journey in 1998 in Austin, TX, a mecca of swing dance. He played a pivotal role in building the community through teaching, running a successful dance company, and organizing events. Based in Knoxville, TN, Scott continues to teach and mentor dancers. In his classes, he emphasizes exploring fundamentals, partnership, listening, and self-expression. With numerous Lindy Hop competition victories and membership in the renowned team Lindy Hoppers' Dozen, Scott's expertise shines through.

Scott's contributions go beyond teaching as he actively organizes dance events. He is involved in organizing the International Lindy Hop Championships and serves as the Competition Manager for major dance competitions in the country. Scott has also developed RP-Scoring, a competition scoring management system used by most large Lindy Hop events nationwide. Previously, he founded and ran the Lone Star Championships and served as an event director of Lindyfest.

Prepare to be captivated by the incredible partnership of Bobby White and Chisomo Selemani, joining us at Swing Out New Hampshire! They will bring their unique styles, expertise, and infectious energy to the dance floor.

Bobby White is a renowned dancer known worldwide for his individual dance style, expressive teaching methods, and his iconic floppy hair. With a passion for Balboa, Lindy Hop, and Solo Jazz, Bobby has achieved numerous national and international championship placements. As a sought-after instructor, he shares his knowledge and love for the dance across the globe. Bobby's welcoming nature, humorous personality, and in-depth instruction create an engaging and memorable learning experience for all.

Joining Bobby is the remarkable Chisomo Selemani, a speech-language pathologist, professor, and dance enthusiast. Hailing from Zambia with a significant part of her life spent in the U.S., Chisomo's dance journey started with her mom and sisters. She has taught and performed across the U.S., sharing her love for Lindy Hop and Balboa. Chisomo's artistic exploration involves the intersection of Afrocentric dance styles. Together with her teaching partners, she believes in collaborative and reflective teaching approaches, nurturing an environment where participants can explore, share, and grow. Chisomo is also the co-founder and co-host of the Integrated Rhythm podcast, engaging in meaningful conversations about challenging topics alongside her best friend, Bobby White.

Irina Amzashvili fell in love with Lindy Hop at 15 and has since become a force to be reckoned with. Alain Fragman, a Lindy Hop sensation hailing from Montréal, is renowned as one of Canada's top dancers and instructors.
