Once again, I will be in Phillipsburg on July 27th from 1 PM to 4 PM for the Wage Peace Summer Carnival. Always a fun time - thanks Indian Mood Foundation. Wished I could share pictures, but I am always so busy twisting it up!

One more week!

Balloons are all about creativity, so we’d like to sponsor a simple contest for children ages 3 and up to submit their creations for a chance to win a special balloon sculpture. Their creations can be made out of Legos, Popsicle sticks, boxes, or whatever they choose.

They can have zoo animals running amok, farming equipment on top of sky scrapers, superheroes fighting villains, princesses in castles, silly circus acts, or anything else they come up with - there are no limits - we just love to promote creativity in children. Have your child give the creation a title since we won’t be using their names.

To enter, please post a photo of your child’s awesome work on business page at , then share it, and ask your friends to vote for it by “liking” the picture you submitted.

Submission due date is April 4th by Noon, and we’ll announce the winner by the April 6th on Facebook. We’ll then find out what design that child would like, and we’ll coordinate a time with mom/dad to pick up their child’s prize sculpture in Helena, MT.

So, get those creative juices flowing kids! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Traveled to Sacramento, CA recently and was able to meet with several balloon twisters who twist for a living and received some friendly encouragement. One trick one of the twisters used was these sheets for storing your prints and shapes in for quicker locating while twisting at an event. It is always fun to learn and improve. Looking forward to this years Farmers' Market!

Been tinkering with the concept of making sticker eyes for my balloons. One design I have been toying with is this one here. What are your thoughts? I hope to have a few more prior to the Farmers' Market starting up!

Birds and Beasleys has sponsored me yearly for quite a spell now at the Fall Art Walk, but this year my schedule conflicts and I will not be available. I hope you are still able to enjoy the many artists there and know that I will hopefully be back in the near future. :)

I have never doubted the generosity of the Helena community --- Saturday, even with one of the slowest markets I have worked this year, I still raised close to a good day with all of the kind donations/tips. I have already given the money to the family as they were able to come over today --- and they were extremely grateful. I will continue to pray for them and your prayers are also welcomed.

My next market I will be able to make will be August 27th.

This Saturday I will be at the Farmers' Market weather permitting. I will be donating all proceeds to help Noa out as she is truly a wonderful person. If you are not able to make it, you can donate online and/or simply include her in your prayers. Thanks and have a wonderful week!
