We are beyond honored to host local artist Julynn Wildman in this workshop series.
If you know anything about my process as a choreographer, you know I love me a good workshop and I am SO excited to announce the Summer 2024 workshops for Scarabic Serenades! Designed for experienced movers ages 15+, this series is going to go into the weird world of rhino beetle combat, stridulation, and courtship.
While I was in residence in 2022, I fell in love with the seemingly alien way that insects move - their body plan, their exoskeletons, their surreal interaction with gravity.
