Throughout the year, CDP stages three community based dance performances and offers cost effective learning opportunities through integrated technique classes, community summer workshops, and adaptive dance classes for people with disabilities and special needs. Dancers and non-dancers of all ages and abilities explore movement within their own unique body structure, exercise their creative spirit

through movement composition and choreography, and reach outside their comfort zones by working with others in an environment of partnership, mentorship, and collaboration. Ballet Basics I & II are the perfect way to build strength, improve balance, and develop coordination in a fun and supportive environment.
✨ Ballet I (Ages 9+)
🕠 Mondays, 5:30–6:30 PM
Perfect for beginners or those returning to dance, this class introduces foundational ballet vocabulary, terminology, and technique in a welcoming, encouraging setting.
✨ Ballet II (Ages 12+)
🕡 Wednesdays, 6:30–7:45 PM
Designed for dancers ready to go beyond the basics, Ballet II builds on the concepts learned in Ballet I, offering greater technical challenges for those comfortable with ballet fundamentals.

Both classes blend a range of ages and experience levels, with instruction tailored to meet each dancer where they are.

Youth and adults with special needs or developmental disability explore creative movement through imaginative prompts and movement exploration in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.
