So excited!!!! We placed 1st in the business decorating contest! Make sure you bring your kiddos to take a peek. It really is magical! I absolutely love Christmas window displays and I have so many ideas from all of my Christmas time travels. Special thanks to my friend, Michelle, who helped me bring one of those visions to life! We love our little downtown area. Our family has brought back to life four historical buildings on our little square. K Gallery Photography has occupied 2 of them over the past 14 years.

Spent some days this week working with Viki Caddel Bunch on some amazing images for the 5A Lindale Eagle football, cheerleaders and drill team! These athletes are going to have some incredible banners and blankets. Don’t mind our red faces! It’s a scorcher! I love working with sports teams! Give me a shout!

Closing out 2022 with an image of Claire Sechelski at the Junior NFR Finals in Las Vegas. What a winner! This girl and this horse have heart! When she asked me to fly out and photograph her, nothing was stopping me. Literally… nothing. This girl is So special to me. And in 72 hours, I was back photographing a wedding!

It’s hard owning your own business. There are a lot of thankless days. There are a lot of people who you love so much, give them all of your heart and soul and they give you a bad review or say something hurtful about you to raise their own value. BUT then there are days that make you get up and REJOICE! I have seen God’s faithfulness. Today I am photographing a bride’s wedding to a gift of a man. I had the pleasure of photographing her first wedding. Although the day was beautiful and every detail was perfect - the journey following was sometimes hurtful and devastating. Although I never knew any of the details and didn’t need to - I felt the urge to pray. I randomly prayed a lot of short prayers for this sweet girl and her family. In my 14 years of photographing amazing stories and meaningful moments- this is at the top of the list. I’ve been honored to be on the sidelines watching what God can do. These are the days that make up my why.
