The first week of August, I walked in the Duke emergency room because i was having double vision and my left side was often numb and tingling. They did a biopsy a couple days later and after a day or two , the results came back wit a diagnosis of glioblastoma, an aggressive and often fatal form of brain cancer. The biopsy has left me 70% paralyzed on my left side.I’m sharing a link to a fundraiser that was set up by friends in order to help me sustain and navigate through this difficult time. I never thought that I’d be going through this, but im thankful that i dont have to fight this alone. I really appreciate the love, support, and encouragement from everyone who consistently shows up or reaches out day after day. Tuesday09/02, i have my first appointment with oncology to discuss treatment plans and figure out what’s next in order to put this in the past and move on with my life. Whisper a positive prayer and send some positive energy this way, I could really use it
