We were able to cater a wedding in Granville County today. Cocktail hour was white cheddar, Brie, prosciutto, salami, apple slices, club crackers. Dinner menu was Carolina pulled pork, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, hush puppies, cole slaw.

The venue was gorgeous, the people were friendly, the atmosphere was superb, and my girls were beautiful as always. Thank you to everyone involved, especially the family.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have decided to cancel tomorrow’s plate sale. The love & support from our family and friends thus far is very much appreciated. Doing a Friday event spur of the moment can be a challenge. With us only having three open Saturdays for the remainder of the year, we will try to do another plate sale spring of next year if at all possible.

“I’m hungry, but I want something different.”

Well, here’s your chance. What better way to finish up the workweek and prepare for a nice weekend, than having a fantastic lunch?

2 marinated boneless, skinless chicken thighs on skewers seasoned with a maple, brown sugar dry rub, and grilled with a delicious house made honey bbq sauce. 2 sides of your choice and a beverage included.

Sautéed onions, green peppers, and grilled pineapple will be offered separately for no extra charge. We will deliver around the Henderson/Oxford area with an order of 10 or more plates.

Step away from the office, take a break from the daily grind, and grab a quick lunch. You’ll be glad you did.

Today we had the privilege of catering my cousin’s graduation celebration. It was an honor, to say the least. We love you Jacob and wish you nothing but the best on you future endeavors. 🎉

We’re doing another plate sale. Our goal is to provide the customer an opportunity to step out of the office or shop, grab a quick lunch, and actually enjoy the break.

The menu would consist of 2 Honey BBQ Chicken Kebabs. Marinated boneless chicken on a stick with nothing else, because not everyone eats onions, green peppers, etc. Upon request, we will place kebabs over fresh grilled pineapple, sautéed green peppers and onion.

The sides for this event will be your choice of (2) grilled corn on the cob, brown sugar baked beans, house made mac n cheese, or fried cabbage (non pork) sautéed in garlic butter with salt, pepper, dash of red pepper flake.

To keep the wait time at a minimum, it is highly recommended that these plates are pre ordered. We’re aiming to feed around 120 people. As we do with any other event, we usually prep 20 extra orders just in case.

Last time we were in the rain, on a Saturday and sold out in less than two hours. There will be no physical tickets. If interested, message Morgan Tyler Reavis and she will make sure you’re taken care of. The date will be 6/30 11am-2pm. $13 without a beverage. Canned sodas and bottled water $1. Location will be Advance Auto Dabney Drive.

Today was a great day.

While myself, Darlene Parrish and Christian Manning were busy feeding a large crowd at Hillside Farms; Morgan Tyler, Scotty Parrish, Rhonda Newton Parrish, Brysen, Carter and Lyric were busy catering a family wedding 4 hours away.

We’re truly blessed that there were no mishaps or hiccups during this operation. Thank you to the bride and groom, along with their families, for the opportunity to provide the food and beverages. It was a challenge, it was an experience, but it was a blessing.

Even on a windy, rainy Saturday, our supporters still showed up. We couldn’t have made this happen without the help of our family. We are forever grateful for every customer, friend, and family member who showed up when they didn’t have to.

This was our first plate sale and it was a huge success. It was also the first catering job a couple people ever worked. No mishaps, no hiccups, no bickering, just serving the people and having fun while doing it. We are looking forward to doing it again soon. Our next plate sale will probably take place on a Friday at lunch.

We are also going to offer a delivery option for every plate sale we do. Again, thank you to everyone who supported the vision and made it a reality.
