Engagement: February 23, 2020. Married: April 9, 2020. 💖

Mike's proposal was SUPER unexpected. We took a hike at John James Audubon State Park with our baby boy, Otto, by our sides. He walked me to the top of a gorgeous hill, and after I took a picture of our view, I turned around to find him on one knee. BEST. FEELING. EVER!

It's even more special because Mike unknowingly proposed to me on my late mother's birthday. I call that fate. I want to think that was my mom's seal of approval. 🥰

Due to COVID, my husband and I were married at the County Clerk's Office in Evansville, IN. Initially, we could have ten people in the courtroom, but as restrictions got more intense, only Mike, the officiant, and myself were in a tiny room together, making our love official.

We may not have had your average wedding, but that didn't make it any less memorable. We're hoping to celebrate with friends at family in the future!
