Hollie Cardinal Photography I am a freelance photographer, graphic designer and event concierge working with clients in the Las Vegas area.

I have shot a wide variety of subjects, from objects to people, however my recent focus has been working with families, children and especially families with special needs children. Having 2 children of my own with special needs, I understand that it takes a little more patience and understanding in order for the session to be successful. Knowing how vulnerable a child with special nee

d can be and how important it is for the family to capture the essence of that child, it allows me to take my time and to allow the child to find his own pace during our photo shoot. I take great pride in each snap of the lens and understand how important it is for a family to be afforded the opportunity to have something so typical, like a family portrait, go well. My mind is blown everytime I see my photos in print. This time I had to catch my breath when my image was chosen for the cover for the March issue of Sensi Nevada!! What!?! Then I open the issue to see my images on several pages inside the issue.

This shoot was done at AREA15 and was with the one and only Chris Wink of Wink World and cozcreatormof Blue Man Group. What a treat to experience his art exhibition.

The 2 page photospread is also at Area15. It highlighted 3 super fun retailers in that space the Emporium, The Beast with Chef Todd English and Iron 51.

There is no doubt that Area15 is an unexpected place to ay and experience. If you haven't gone, you need to go!

This time I got to shoot alongside one of my favorite photographers Jerome Hamilton. His work is quite amazing and I was honored work beside him. Thank you for sharing the stage.

It was fun to bring our photo booth micro bus Li'l Sammy to photography events. Usually she sees the inside of parties and wedding receptions. It was great to see her among other vehicles, shining. Thanks Gia Bang for shooting with me. You look perfect in our cute little JDM micro bus!

Gia Bang is ready to take Li'l Sammy -Las Vegas Photo Bus for a spin! We had fun using our little micro bus photo booth as a photo prop at the most recent Cars and Coffee Las Vegas this past weekend at the Shelby American Heritage Center. The photographers and models from the Camera Meetup had a fun time posing with her and she felt right at home with the other Japanese Domestic Motors that were featured at the car show.

What a beautiful little family.

This was an impromptu photo of the Baier Family, I had our Photo booth micro bus aka, Li'l Sammy, at the Cars and Coffee Las Vegas Camera Meet-up to be used as a photo prop for the models throughout the morning.

This event had beautiful models and photographers from all over along with some very impressive vehicles, yet, I was enamored by this happy family who made their way over to our little Micro bus. Their oldest son was so happy to jump inside the vehicle and have a chance to do something other than be in a stroller.

When I saw his excitement to see Sammy, I just had to invite them into my van for a quick family photo. They quickly piled in with smiles on their faces. I asked if they had ever done a family shoot before. They responded with "never", so I knew that I wanted to give them a nice capture as a gift. I had my professional camera out and snapped a few pics for them, they were thrilled to capture a pic of their little family during their outing. It's moments like these that make me happy to be a photographer. Capturing sweet moments in time.

My favorite images are always when no one is posing for the camera and they aren't looking into the lens. It makes it fun to capture the world as life unfolds in front of me. Freezing life in that perfect moment is everything. Here's a few from the recent wedding for a fantastic clients, Star and Michael. It was a micro wedding with super close family within their bubble. Just because your wedding is small doesn't mean that you don't deserve great photos!

PHOTOGRAPHY My passion is photography. I love finding those little moments that are fleeting and even forgotten and capturing them in an image where time stands still... forever. A photograph is more than a picture, it is a moment in time that will never be again, that one moment when now is the time to savor it.

As a freelance photographer, I am called upon to shoot a variety of occasions and subjects. I am open for almost any type of shoot. From family photos and weddings to corporate events and festivals; I love to capture it all.

My clients love that I am a friendly and relatable photographer who understands being shy and uncomfortable in front of the camera can be a real challenge for many people. Taking time to get to know my subjects in a one-on-one setting and putting them at ease is a real talent that shows in the eyes of those I photograph.

As an event photographer, being able to blend in while capturing moments without disrupting the flow of the event as well as being able to switch into a more active role as an event enhancer is vital and a hallmark to my service.
