JSL of Hendersonville is proud to announce our contestants for Mr. Sumner County!

This year’s beneficiary is Parker Strong for Su***de prevention. Our next contestant is Jeff Brewer.

Growing up in Mount Juliet, Jeff graduated Wilson Central High School in 2004 and immediately joined the TN Army National Guard. He served the TN Army National Guard for 13 years including two deployments, to the Southwest border and to Iraq. In 2017, Jeff transitioned to the TN Air Guard and has been serving the Air Force since then. His entire career has focused around intelligence analysis and currently specializes in strategic targeting. Jeff is anticipated to retire from the Air Force in 2024.
Jeff joined the Hendersonville Police Department in 2008 at 21 years old. His first assignment was working in the patrol division as a bicycle patrol officer. In 2012, he was promoted to the CID unit. As a detective, he worked major crimes such as s*x crimes, crimes of violence, and crimes against children. In 2017, he was promoted to Sergeant and he currently supervises the day shift patrol officers. He currently has 15 years of service to the City of Hendersonville.
Jeff’s education includes an associates from Volunteer State Community College in Aviation, a Bachelors in Criminal Justice from Bethel University, and is currently enrolled in a MBA program at Western Governors University. He is also a 2021 Graduate of the Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command.
In Jeff’s free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and giving back to the community. He has traveled to 15 different countries and has only missed a few states. He also is a member at the Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club where he enjoys spending summers at the pool and golfing with his son. Jeff is also a member of the Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce and the Hendersonville Evening Rotary Club.
Jeff has a beautiful wife named Hailey who is a teacher at Liberty Creek Middle School and is the Middle School Cheerleading Coach. He has three children, boy/girl twins Levi and Allie who are 9 years old, and Emma Katherine who is 7 years old. All children are students at Liberty Creek Elementary.
