THANK YOU so much S.H.O.T for volunteering to be a drop of location for a final day of collection for Henniker's efforts to gather supplies for Florida hurricane victims. NH team had 3 box car trailers that departed with full loads on Sat., 10/7 and picked up 7 more team members with their trailers chocked full in other states along the route. Quite the caravan! They arrived today in Florida, and I will post an update.
In the meanwhile, YOU are a great organization, and sensitive to those in need whether near for far. I truly appreciate all of you, and your "spirit!" Your help certainly lifted mine, and I had a terrific time hanging out at the Music on Maine Street event with everyone, and seeing old friends and meeting new ones!
Speaking of old friends, a shout out to my dear friend MaryEllen for her presentation of this effort to S.H.O.T, and for making the WONDERFUL last minute sign so people knew where to bring items. A LOT was collected!
If you know the names of the adorable and helpful high schoolers in the picture, would you please post here. They jumped in and helped me without a blink of an eye to get all that was collected into my car! What sweeties!
