Hemlock Fairground is a national historic district and fairground located in Hemlock, NY (Livingston County) The most notable landmark is the racetrack and covered grandstand constructed in 1870. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. Hemlock Fair has been held for over 150 years!

At the festival both stages, plus the vending and camping areas, are located along the midway areas for all in one convienence. Tent camping is right by your vehicle, and the restrooms are close by and open during all hours of the event. RV & camper sites are available with electric for an extra fee. If you like glamping this is the festival for you!

Live close by and not camping? No problem your wristband is good all weekend, and single day tickets are available.

Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Miller and The Other Sinners brings a fresh blend of roots music, southern soul, blues, rock and R&B that will move you at the core. They are lead by David Michael Miller, who's sophomore solo album 'Same Soil' ended up at #34 for the top blues albums played worldwide on radio according to the Roots Music Report in 2015, and climbed as high as #3.

David has received worldwide press as well as numerous awards including “Artist of The Year” by the Arts Services Institute of Western New York, "Best Blues Male Vocalist" for Night-Life Magazine (2013, 2014 and 2015) and has shared the stage with artists such as Gary Clark, Jr., Jonny Lang, The Steve Miller Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Shemekia Copeland, James Cotton, the late Bobby Blue Bland, and many more.

David is accompanied on the road by former Buddy Guy sax player of nearly 10 years, Jason Moynihan and an exciting young rhythm section with occasional guests by members of the internationally renown, Campbell Brothers. For Steve Grills, the Blues has been a life long journey. Growing up he heard the music of Big Bill Broonzy, Leadbelly and Lightnin' Hopkins from his father's record collection. Through the Beatles, Steve discovered Chuck Berry and he hasn't looked back since. He has searched out the roots of Rock and Roll, uncovering many great artists who have influenced and inspired him. Primarily among these are Robert Lockwood Jr., Earl Ho**er, Freddie King and Albert Collins. Steve befriended Robert Lockwood Jr after meeting him in 1978. In 1992, Robert invited Steve and his band to perform at his Legendary Blues Festival near Cleveland, OH. Steve later recorded with Robert on Shakin Smith's CD "Harmonica Wizard."

Steve Grills and The Roadmasters (named after Earl Ho**er's band) draw their repertoire from these and other artists, giving audiences the opportunity to discover the vitality of the music of these legendary and influential musicians. We are thrilled to have them join us at 7:30pm on Saturday August 20th.

The Rollin' Rust is an indie/folk group from the foothills of Central New York. Led by singer-songwriter James VanDeuson, the distinctive writing style of a traveling folk artist runs wild through his band's most recent work. Joined by his talented friends, Jim Hearn (lead guitarist) and Kyle Dennis (percussion), James' songs now have a distinct edginess to them, sounding almost as if you took a classic folk song and corrupted its mind with years of jam-band concerts and smoky southern bar rooms. We are very excited to have them join us at 2:30pm Saturday August 20th.

The John Payton Project is a funk, reggae, ska, power pop, rockin’ blues explosion! At a JPP show the band might take you from a deep reggae groove to a Talking Heads cover, from touches of Band of Gypsies-era Hendrix to flashes of eighties Bowie, weaving a kaleidoscopic soundscape that spans decades and nations.
